This is the first time I've heard that Winchester "white box" is less-than-solid ammo, but I must admit to being something of a neophyte on such things. The range near me had a special price on such ammo, and I bought 600 rounds or so of it. I don't recall having any issues, but I won't say it's any better or worse than most of my ball ammo (lots of CCI Blazer 115gr., a fair pile of Herter's 115gr., and some random other stuff including MagTech). The SD hollow point inventory is widely varied--a function of being a new shooter in 2020 and grabbing what was available--but I have settled on a Hornady product for most of my hollow-point stuff going forward. Happily, I have not had need of doing anything beyond making sure the EDC pieces will feed Hornady rounds in a range setting, but they feed just fine. My life isn't situated such that I could start doing my own reloads right now. I *could* save some brass for such a project, but I just don't have the bandwidth to exercise the precision I would want to maintain to have safe reloads. I applaud those who can.
Tinker you are so right! I picked up my FC today and blew through 300 rounds. The pistol is awesome. Everyone at my range asked what it was and where to get one. The only drawback I found is the same as you. The sights are very lacking and it shoots very low. I am looking for a set of adjustable night sights I can modify to fit the rear.
You have much to be proud of. Girsan makes many fine guns, and Canik and Tisas in my experience are exceptional. the ones I have owned or tested have been very good and modestly priced; I'm very much looking forward to reviewing and perhaps even owning more of them in the future.
Looks like a CZ-75 copy Tanfoglio Canik IWI baby Eagle SAR are very simular and this is a great platform and one that has many copies or clones because it's a great platform that has good ergonomices and feels good in your hand
Just picked up my Zigana Sport 5” from the FFL tonight. Break-in on Saturday. Tisas owes you a commission, Tinker!

It's always nice to see a follow-up review. Ten thousand round reviews would be nice, but who has the time...and the $$$ for the ammo?
You ain't kidding! 1000 rounds stretched my budget bad enough!

Glad you like it!
As a Turk, I was proud to see a Turkish-made gun.

Recall heads up. I just saw a video about a recall on Tisas 45 and 10mm guns. Hammer follow issues.
Yes, some serial number ranges of their 1911s
