- We visited the biggest night market in Cameron Highlands. Like most Pasar Malam in Malaysia, you can find souvenirs, clothing, toys, fresh produce and most importantly street food! We had so much fun sampling all the food offered here!

know that we will love Cameron Highlands for sure! the weather is great, not too cold and not too hot and also they have night market! can't miss it! :)
The weather is one of the reasons why we're here and also for the awesome view! The night market wasn't in our plan initially, but glad we did visit this place!
You can't never go wrong with grilled lamb. Whoa! The enoki mushrooms... Nabol would go nuts! He's a mushroom guy. I totally understand about not having enough space to eat it all. That happens to us all the time. We really enjoy night markets like these two markets. Great episode guys!
The Grilled lamb was our favourite! Haha great to hear Nabol loves mushrooms! Probably a good snack with some drinks ;) Stay safe and healthy during this chaotic period guys!
A bonus night market at the end.. looked like it was less about food and a lot smaller
The first night market was definitely more happening! The other little night market doesn't have many things there.

Yes night markets!! Love them.. might hit up a few this year..locally until the Covid thing goes away lol..

haha feel you guys! that's what we feel too when exploring night markets and stomach full already but still so many great stuff to try! ended up took some of the street foods away and bring back to where we stayed! :)

Yay! Food market episode! Love the backdrop of the mountains in this market. Never seen this fruit! I miss you guys doing your exotic fruits episodes. OOohh, those sweet potatoes are our favorite!! The satay bag is a good deal too.
Thanks guys! The view is amazing here. It's funny that Puri and I had this fruit all the time from the can, and we're super stoked to see the real fruit haha!!! I think the exotic fruit episode was by Nick and Helmi 😁 maybe we should showcase some of our exotic fruits here too!

So many tasty dishes and those prices are sooooooooooo cheap compared to European prices. One of the things that really impressed me about Malaysian street food actually is the cleanliness and hygiene compared to neighboring countries.
But but you guys have cheap wine and beer!! Compared to Singapore, we're filthy already haha! Still got lots of room to improve on our countries' cleanliness! 😁

This is a funny species called the sea coconut😋 it's quite different from the coconut fruit.

OMG, it's super crowded! Looks like my kind of place. Sea coconut is awesome, I've never seen it whole like that though. Oh Yea... all those street foods are making me so hungry and has all sorts of cravings now haha. I need some satay, so cheap... it's crazy! Lamb chops look awesome, I thought it was Korean short ribs at first glance. Durian of course, it is Malaysia after all 😜. Great job guys. Next time we're in Malaysia, we'll be sure to visit this night market. 👍LIKE #30
OMG we miss satay. Had a massive craving since before the lockdown 😭 Yes, you definitely must visit night markets here. It's never disappointing 😄

The chicken grill looks very tender and juicy! I like the crispyness of the skin! We used to have that sweet potatoes too! And the corn on cob! Yum! So much food there! I hope you are safe there both, stay safe and healthy guys ❤️👍🏼😊😘

Hey Gunner! I would say it does take quite some time to travel to Cameron Highlands. One day if you don't have any other places you want to visit in Malaysia or feeling like you want some nature, then you can then consider Cameron ;)

Prices there seem a bit higher (for certain things) than I expected - but a lot of the food is really well priced! Always fun hitting up a market!

@@PuriandSue Yes, it's a very interesting time. Akane and I live in Canada (my home country) on the east coast. We are one of the newest countries to be effected, so we don't have much yet (my province only has 3 confirmed cases). That being said, everything is on quarantine to make sure it doesn't spread, so I am finding myself with some extra editing time on my hands since my work is only open a few days a week at this point!

Never saw deep fried enoki mushroom before! Looks kind of like Filipino ukoy
Our first time too haha! We haven't tried Ukoy, went to google it and it does look like it but without the shrimp
But this Enoki was a little too oily :P
Lamb chops is awesome. All we have been eating for a month here is lamb hahaha all kinds of lamb

@@PuriandSue One day you gotta try adana, it is from a city in Turkey called Adana, and the lamb is up to 1 year old. The meat is soft, juicy and overall super delicious

Yoooo! Night market that's where we've been eating like almost every day here in Taiwan hahaha. What the sea coconut never seen that before either 😯 also like the sweet potato good choice 😍🤤 call em kumara in New Zealand. Yen would love the satay n the sweet potato balls. Man seriously you two can eat 😁👍 the lamb looks great 😍
You guys are spoilt with all the choices and night markets available in Taiwan haha!! The lamb was our favourite, but I'm sure can't beat the lamb in NZ!!!

This mushroom was a little oily when it became cold, I think I might prefer the one in Taiwan!

this night market set up reminds us of the Ningxia Night Market in Taipei, ohh I think I've tried pilled sea coconut before in "Es Campur" but never knew that the actual fruit is quite big :)
So many night markets in Taipei! Oh I've never tried Es Campur before. But yes we usually see sea coconut in cans, but this is our first time seeing a real fruit and we're so fascinated seeing one haha!
Never heard of or seen sea coconut before! Cool how you can pick pieces of it off. Now want to try one!
Funny that Puri and I always eat the canned sea coconut here, but this was our first time seeing a fresh sea coconut and we're pretty fascinated by it haha!

That’s no sea coconut. That’s a palm fruit. There’s plenty in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The juice from its flower is really sweet and they boil down this juice to get palm sugar.
Those wings! So cheap and looks great! I would be all about those skewers too hehe
Those meat skewers are called satay, super delicious dipping it into the peanut sauce!
