Killing Radahn is one of the requirements for the DLC. Miquella bought his soul back to fight for him.

To the add to the comment above, Mogh's body is used as Radahn's vessel, that's why he's smaller and has omen horns on his arms. Miquella molded it in the shape of a younger Radahn.
