Love the Adopted Unit at the Tip of the First Train. Cool Color Scheme. 🤔👍🙏

Awesome video Jeff
Thank you Ed!
I had to do some research. Slug BN 54 (TEBC6) rebuilt from a Burlington Northern SD9. Interesting catch.
Yeah, the trucks kinda give that away. They use a couple of them at Galesburg, I think 56 is the other one. Thanks for watching!

That's a very cool heritage collection on that first train! 🙃 I'm sure the Santa Fe lettering must have been repainted on 552
Not sure but good to see it still out and about. Thanks for watching Andrei.
Fantastic catches on the fist train! Is that blue GP38-2 a unique example or are there others? And will it keep that unique color forever, or will it lose it at the first general overhaul in the workshop and become an anonymous GP38-2?
There were a small number of them like that. Some have been retired already, don’t think it will see the spray booth. Thanks for watching.
Thx Jeff. Where did that blue and white bnsf come from?
They had a few of them at one time, my guess is old Conrail GP38s. A lot of them were returned and they went all different directions.
Built 1971, apparently!
