I admit I like the look of the matte sides on my Z fold 5 better.... BUT the shiny sides of my Pixel 9 Pro XL are so much easier to hold and are less slippery than matte

Dude I feel you! Thats why I couldn't keep the pixel 9 pro, shit was slow for content creation. My iPhone and oppo phones just blaze through the process, while the pixel just lagged. Like you said Daily tasks are bearable but when you factor in the price, bearable becomes unbearable, that pill is too hard to swallow.
