This was hands down the most honest and revealing of her interviews as well as one that early on addressed her views in singing and acting and how she reconciled them All conveyed in 3 minutes
Something here, maybe being on BBC or being in England, made her more candid and truthful in self analysis, she rarely spoke with this lack of guardedness or immediacy again.
totally agree, I love her openness in this. she seems so inviting and ... ugh, I hate to say it, but real. You know? I guess that makes sense tho. When we're younger, we are usually more optimistic and open (and maybe a smidge naive). She was so young here, and so many amazing things were yet to happen for Babs and her career. Thanks for commenting, Tom.
I disagree …you can hear any of her interviews …she says the same thing she’s one of the most honest and truthful of any celebrity. I’ve listened to over 150 of her interviews she says almost the same thing she’s very true to what she says and she hasn’t changed same with Her politics… hasn’t changed since the 60s
I’m feeling she did both. Here is her actual hair but many times it obviously a wig, as many times in Funny Girl. I’m in the hair biz so I feel pretty sure of this. :)
That was her real hair cut. From 1967 on she began to wear wigs as she was growing her hair out. Still wearing wigs, even at the 1970 Oscar win ceremony.
Incredibly bad lower teeth! Strange that she didn't get them fixed! Probably scared for the dentists'. Also funny to see that she's only turning one facial side to the camera.
The greatest star there ever was or will be.
She really is incredible. It’s so cool to see her at this early point, and hear her perspectives.
Yep

Feel the same. 100%
And she hasn’t changed her story since 😊she says the same thing today
This woman has still the voice👌
This is the first good interview I have heard with her. I love it.

Thanks, Barbara,
Golly gee it's Babra Stricszan
lol
Sometimes I don't know if her hair was short or she's wearing short hair wig in the 1960s decade.

Hmm, never even thought about it. Wigs seem like standard practice for famous celebs so I wouldn't be surprised if she had one.
The lighting man should be fired.
Its not doing justice to Barbra's beautiful.nose
