The guy in the Dolphin RV is a very good friend of mine. Waylon Power. We've known each other since high school. He lives in Georgia and I did for a year last year. He lives on an amazing little patch of land in a house his dad built. He has chickens and fresh eggs daily and still is the amazing human he presents himself as in the video. Our kids got to meet each other this past summer and it was a great sight to see. I will see him again in Denver at the end of April.

@@ABagOfLag he's a hippy at heart and one of those people with an energy that draws people to him. He's relatively settled now just outside of Atlanta and is an amazing father to two young boys. I was living in Georgia last year and was able to reconnect with Waylon and meet his beautiful family. We got together three or four times that year and last summer my daughter came out and my last weekend in Georgia was spent with our two families having the best time.

@@frysco5927he’s vaguely aware and it doesn’t really occur to him to indulge in the mystique of it all. His girlfriend has tried to get him to realize that people are curious about him but he’s not that guy to get caught up or try to be famous. He’s a large well built Sasquatch of a man and his legend and name are known in a few circles and he brings an aura with him that draws people to him no matter where we go. Over the summer he went to a concert and next thing you know the artist performing called Waylon and his girlfriend to come onstage and they danced and vibed through the set with the guy. I wish I could name the artist but it’s music I’m not into so I saw the pics and videos and they told me who the artist was but that memory stream is dried. It was a concert in a cave outside ATL if I remember correctly
@@frysco5927 he’s aware that people are curious about him. I thought I commented earlier but don’t see it so here’s my second go at it. His girlfriend is more captivated by the amount of people that appreciate his style in the video and wants him to engage but he’s more interested in existing as he does. The thing about Waylon is he naturally draws people to him anywhere he goes. He’s a large well built man now probably related to the Sasquatch. He brings peace and makes people feel accepted in his presence and the documentary is a very small part of the amazing adventures and stories that naturally occur on a somewhat regular basis. I love him like a brother and have plenty of pictures and videos of us together. I’ll post something if it makes sense to do it and of course if he doesn’t mind

Those days are numbered if not already history. Today it would be "FREEZE SCUMBAG, I GOT A GUN AND I'LL SHOT YA IF YA MOVE"! God bless the time we spent back before the mess we're in when people were truly free.. Very grateful for those days.

@@MrJimShorts some people still manage to make a living, social media helps more than ever and/or you could start a blog and have advertisers pay you. Some companies will even pay you to travel and promote their shit. Or you can just travel and fund normal work whenever you need money, like washing dishes for a night at a cheap restaurant. Lots of ways.
It's Called "Fixing it Yourself" Lol, I mean you'll be living in the Camper, So it's not like you have anywhere to go in a hurry bc ur already home Lol, But if you don't know how to work on vehicles then I suggest you not try this unless you have a crap ton of money to pay someone else to fix ur ride if something happens to it 🤷

Texas blows if you've been to California and that goes for all states. And I'm not talking about the "politics", I'm talking about once you've experienced all of California's great weather ( when coastal ) and all its natural beauty. Once you've experienced that, no other state can compare as a total package. Texans say that but have never even been anywhere else (most of the time) and they've normally never been to the Golden state

@@taffymatt6870 im from germany im considering it but first i have to travel from kerala to kathmandu, my uncle said his trip this route 2006 was the most culture shock and the most life changing ride ever and hes been to the whole world so to speak.I think train hopping is more of my kind of deal since i done it before. but its so fuckin dangerous here i wont do it again in west europe.

Hitchhiking is fun when you're with the right group of guys. Never hitchhike alone though. The people you meet are a thing of themselves and I've made friendships across America and Canada are awesome. You can share life experiences, learn something, never see them again. Get some friends and do it, cause it definitely changed my life.

In former Soviet Union everyone hitchhikes. I live in Kazakhstan and you usually pay the person for the ride but it's like unofficial taxi combined with hitchhiking. Too bad it's not like this in America.

I'm from the Amarillo area and I can honestly say the views of most people in that area have changed quite a bit from 2012 thanks to WT (a university by Amarillo) getting more recognition from ppl from all over the country. So in short its diverse af now so most people are chill now 🖖
