I honestly think you should go for the Pokémon main series instead.
It is complexer than JWTG but much better than JWA, when it comes to availablity of the monsters and easier to get into the competitive scene
Glad I got sick of this game come the start of this year. I don't want to go through this torture
I remember dino's only having 'impact' as a move and it dealt 1.5 times their damage, good old simple days
Those were the good days where the only thing to worry about was an epic or legendary hybrid
Friendship ended with Impact, Taunting Rampage is now my best friend
I remember going nuts when they introduced Carbonemys because it had a 3x attack with Devastation, well, now there is increased crit damage, 2'5x attacks and maaaaaany more stuff...
@@jorgecorbi807 I remember when tryko was the most op dino ever because it had that medium counter attack, nowadays a counter that doesn't go trough cloak, reduce speed, distract you, and go through armor and shield is a useless counter

I think the main reason for the battle system being absolutely broke is because all the new creatures have overly complicated attacks, while the old uniques have things like fierce impact and greater stunning strike , new ones have beserk-healing cloaking resilient revenge devour stunning rampage
And that is the wonderful ✨powercreep✨
In 2025 they'll make a Tier called "Mythical" (just above the Monstrous Tier which is also above the Killer tier which is again above Berserk tier which is above Dominator tier which is above Uber tier which is above Alpha tier which is above Omega tier) and there'll be a Nomikoonamortovenatorex + Gemisungarajascorpios Hybrid called Nomigemisungoonamortodiovenatorpiorex whose sixth move will be "Berserk Resilient Cloaking Revenging Devouring Stunning Cleansing Boosting Dispersed Taunting Nullifying Instant Precise Wounding Distracting Camouflaging Critical Dodging Decelerating Shielded Armor Piercing Fierce Shattering Devious Enfeebling Striking Impacting Triple Double Rampaging Dual Raking Clawing Charging Afflicting Bulwark and Run"

omegas were a mistake, 90% of them just brokenly OP and it takes way too much DNA and coins to lvl them up, and its just the same old endless circle, if you dont (or cant) lvl up creatures you wont win battles, you wont get DNA and cions and cant lvl up creatures, and it begins again, and if people dont use or have the current meta creatures they will constantly lose
In top ten Just 1 Player uses an omega
omegas are needless, they have taken over the isla events and passes which is irritating and worst part, due to the huge DNA amounts needed to level them up...most of my omegas are like, level 4-5 at a max, like most couldn't beat a base epic trex...
Not to mention they rob us of potential hybrids by not being fusable.

I've said it years ago: Ludia, or more accurately Jam City, is trying to make short term profit at the expense of the game's health.
Omega's really killed the game for me, I was working hard on unlocking all the dino's, getting my PvP and raid teams up, and I was enjoying the game. But then Omega's came out, and suddenly I felt like what was the point of building up tournament teams anymore, why have a rare team and an epic team and a legendary team when I could just have one team of Omega's for all of them? I played for i think 2 or 3 years, probably spent more money than I should have on it, but just can't keep up, it's too much.

I agree with every single one of your points. The game has come to a point of needing to analyze every single little detail, instead of just playing how you want. The amount of microtransactions this game has daily has gotten worse than ever, and this is evident in the shops and the amount of Omegas being released each update. It feels like such a chore to catch up now, and in a way it forces people to spend money if they want to continue being competitive, which I think sets a horrible precedent for future games to come.
Thank you for being one of the few out there who actually voice their complaints.
Beaver said everything ive been thinking about when it comes to this game, i gave up on the game about a year ago and i honestly can't bring myself back to playing it again...unless they revamped the entire game
The combat really does need a complete rework at this point
I Remember when the Meta was " my dino can put up a sheild, now your Raptor can't hurt me" " yeah well my Rex eats your sheild" and that was about it.
Finally i have been waiting for so long for a jwa video to come out🤩🤩🎉 and your right this game has started to decreas its popularity, only because of its meta and an unpleasant update that only receives omegas and not new hybrids/regular creatures.
Kind of late, but it is always good to see the classic: resilient mutual cleansing nullifying damage increasing and decreasing regeneration sacrifice strike.

I came back to JWA after three years and I could swear re learning all of physics,trigonometry & algebra would be easier than trying to understand what each attack does in this game I miss the good old days of say cloak being incredibly simple you have a 50% chance to dodge all damage that was it
The 6 that are getting the enhancements first are mortem , ankylos lux , haast max, indolycan, the bear king, and skoonamet. However there WILL be more apex enhancements to come in the next few updates next year
By the way beaver I think the alert rampage on skoonametrodon was supposed to be threatened below 50% not 5-% probably a typo since the - key is right next to the 0 key.
That battle against the Toro proved the point, I was a Hardcore JWA player, but as soon as the Omegas were introduced, my interest in the game went from 100 to 0

All the new icons unironically look like memes we would have made about the ever more complex movesets in this game just a few months ago, haha.
Call me a caveman, but I prefer the old and simple "haha, big dino makes chomp" icons.
We made memes like these back when the forum was a thing. Same with creatures with ridiculous stats. Looking back, they were still more balanced and legit than the new creatures.
I personally think that the battles and abilities are fine and quite enjoy the new moves that make each creature unique however I do agree that this game is like a part-time job
pro gamers after selecting the wrong move that does 17 actions at once and accidentally make their opponent have 0.2% less damage reduction
The reason i stopped playing JW alive was because it got too complicated. Everytime a new dinosaur was added it was broken and everyone was using it. I really miss the old days when all you had to worry about was Indominus rex with his Immunity🥲
The fact that even with limited abilities, omegas half your level are able to give you a run for your money is ridiculous. While the new changes are nice they'll solidify that any tournament below legendary tier will be exclusively run by omegas, a shame really

The addition of omegas and enhancements was horrid. Endless additional grinding to eventually replace my entire team after 2+ years doesn’t sound fun at all. AND they reworked stops and I lost every single one where I normally play.

It needs like a pvp combat system where you enter a specific league or something of the various tiers of Dino’s, like common rare and epic. Like you opt to fight and you choose your Dino’s in that tier
When they added the Omega creatures it just wasn't fun to play. Especially now they are putting them in places like incubators, on the map and alliance rewards, taking away from other possible DNA that we could be receiving for the dinosaurs that we actually play. P.S hope you liked that video I made of you a while back..lol xoxoxo

Another issue i see with jwa is there is so many dinosaurs that its immpossible to actually inow what to do against half of them

I tried to get into the game about a year ago after literally never playing it before, and even then I felt like there was too much, every single thing having 3 hybrids of it meant any DNA I didn't get I felt like I was wasting, on the other hand actually leveling the dinos I did have didn't really reward me with anything because there's always this feeling of wasting levels just so you could get the hybrid unlocked and going and then wasting levels on it to get the next one after

The game is just a "ok this is broken" kind of spam literally the panthera hybride everywere, rexy everywere it s always the same thing and the problem is that if you do different you just stay behind everyone else,what I think that game lacks in right now is player creativity to develop personal strategies and still do great by not following the meta, I personally still enjoy to play against my friends, raids are super fun and we do all kinds of dumb stuff

At the time it was impossible to get Rexy DNA but from a few events or the market
Jurassic Park Builder was replaced by Jurassic World: The Game, both have a sinilar function so, unless a better game is used instead of Jurassic World: Alive that has a similar function, it's not getting deleted
At this point, I'm just collecting dinosaurs when they came out on events (the free pass and community incubators are examples)

they have shortened our range, removed the spawns (I have about 5 dinos on my map) they have removed about half of the supply drops my range is smaller and I have no raids on my map or outside my range!
