    I started almost three years ago in the pest industry. I do mostly termite work and I make 30k a year salary. no commission on anything I do. Im getting everything in order now to start my own company. Im very nervous but also excited. My goal is to gain at least 1 customer per day for the first year. (5 per week) plus any termite and bed bug jobs i get. I am fortunate to live somewhere with not much competition and the companies, including the one I am at now, have bad reps.

    What's a good percentage to pay a 1099 contractor? Just sales percentage? Percentage if they sell and service the customer?

    • @GriffinThomasMFCEO
      @GriffinThomasMFCEO  2 роки тому +2

      I don’t really do a percentage or anything like that. I sell everything and he just does the job as soon as possible, these jobs are usually $1200-3000 and I pay him usually $250-350 per job because he’s quite literally the best at what he does and that’s what he’s happy making doing them and after that, the costs of supplies, customer acquisition costs etc. I’m still making around $800-2000 per job for the company net. I guess if you were to add up all the jobs and do the math to find out what percentage has gone to home I’d say maybe 16-22% but we just say $250 for our easier jobs and $300-350 if they’re jobs that are going to require a full day of work or maybe even a second day.
