Years ago I enrolled in several organizing classes & was told to wash comforters once a month. However I don’t follow that schedule since we don’t use the comforter while sleeping. We take the comforter off the bed at night or fold it down at foot of bed while sleeping. I wash all my comforters twice a year, spring & fall. I do that schedule for guest bedrooms too. My grown kids are here only 3 or 4 weekends per year.
Family of 7 here! I wash comforters once to twice a month or as needed if messes happen lol u look amazing depression is kicking my butt so motivation to work out is harder
I’ve notice that many of the home decor posters do not use top sheets. I don’t wash my blanket or comforter every week as I use a top and fitted sheet and it covers my blanket. Once a week to do all sheets and blankets is a lot for big families! Love to watch your videos. 😊❤️
Ask your hubby to build you a super simple clothesline! It would be a game changer, especially with the GA heat, your comforters would be dry quick and it would save on energy!! I only wash mine once a month and of course I hang on my clothesline to dry ❤ Great video as always!

I’d say sheets once a week and comforters once a month. Maybe not so much meal prep more ingredient prep. Like chop veggies and clean and slice fruits. Makes it easier for me to eat healthier and cook healthier. I make meat loaf similar but make a sauce on top with ketchup, a little brown sugar and worstershire sauce. Everyone seems to have their own fam recipes :), keep rewarding your hard work 🎉❤
I wash my comforter and sheets every week, every Saturday or Sunday they get washed! With my comforters whenever I put them in the dryer and they are thick, I stop it half way through, and I flip it, and start the dryer back and it usually drys it in one dry! I also have 3 sets of sheets and comforters that I switch out and I don’t feel rushed to wash everything in one day!
One of my favorite verses ❤ i try to deep clean (reset ) my home between Friday and Saturday that deep clean washing the sheets rugs grocery’s for the week . I have meal Prep several things you can do break fast tacos / sandwiches I’ll do sometimes do lunch for me this week coming up I’m doing a sheet pan of chicken sausage few potatos squash zucchini and broccoli I’ll eat for lunch for few days .

I use a top sheet so I don’t have to wash my comforter very often. I have 3 grandkids living with me. They use to use a top sheet but don’t now so I have to wash the comforters weekly. I hate doing that because I think it wears them out faster.
In the summer I wash my comforter every 2 weeks we use a top sheet and queen quilt so I can wash and hang it outside and it really doesn’t get that dirty.
Hey Friend, Happy Thursday. I try to wash my sheets every 2 weeks but at least once a month is what I strive for. I agree people in your house especially kids will eat whatever you have in the house. So that’s why my parents always had fruit in the house growing up but they had some snack food too. I want to be the same way when I have my own kids but I’m going to limit their snacking. I don’t know what people mean by day old bread so I just use bread crumbs. 😮
Janet Andrews hello from Virginia: Marie I usually clean my comforter once a month and I usually have it dry cleaned because it has downs feathers inside. I also don't sleep under my comforter I just place it on a chair in my bedroom and sleep under a blanket which I wash weekly.
We wash our sheets and comforter once a week, but we have 2 sets of sheets and 2 comforters so when we wash we put on the comforter and sheets we washed the week before so that helps us not having to worry about waiting on the comforters to dry.
I meal prep at the beginning of the month and do a large batch of homemade meatballs that we use for meatball subs, spaghetti, Swedish meatballs, sweet & sour asian meatballs etc. I also make my own OBrian potatoes and freeze them. Sometimes I do a large batch of breakfast tacos… and weekly I do overnight fridge oats.
I normally try to wash my sheets once a week and comforter every other week. My little dog sleeps on my comforter, so I like keeping it fresh. Your meatloaf always looks so delicious.
I got rid of all my comforters and changed to a Duvet Insert and Duvet Covers. Washing the covers bi-weekly and the duvet monthly. It also freed up so much storage space.

Yes, I've used old stale bread, crackers, Italian seasoned bread crumbs or just oats at times in my meatloaf 😋. A favorite summer meal is anything done on the grill but cooler weather its hamburger gravy over mashed potatoes with a veggie and salad. We also like chicken 'n dumplings (or biscuits)with peas and carrots mixed in.

We also are not in our bed or on our bed unless we're sleeping. Everyone lives differently, though. Drying our comforters takes 3 or 4 cycles to dry, totally agree.

That's the whole purpose of a top sheet:-) If you use a top sheet then you don't need to wash comforters and blankets every week, which wears them out quicker, plus they're a pain to wash - especially if it's a duvet that has to be removed from a cover:-)

Honestly I think I maybe wash our comforters every other month. I do wash sheets once a week and we all use flat sheets so I feel like that helps keep the comforters clean. Obviously if someone gets sick or something happens to get a comforter dirty I will wash them but I just can not keep up with more than that 🤷🏻♀️
Hey girl, we are a family of 6 also the only difference is that my boys wash there on bedding then are 19&13 and my daughter that is 17 she washes her own also but sometimes when she washes hers I'll add my 7 year olds but if not I do switched hers and my husbands for a new clean set every 1-2 weeks and wash the dirt ones not asap but as soon as I can and I have a day off my bed is California king so I literally have to wash everything on its own which is so enjoying I definitely need a queen size bed also

I love meatloaf, but my son and husband don't like it. I personally use Stove Top Stuffing instead of using bread or bread crumbs. It turns out really yummy ☺️

I have a king comfortable first I would never wash my comfortable in a home washer these new washers do not give enough water and they twist and tangle your clothes unless you have a front loader, if it needed washing I would take it to be professionally cleaned. What I do is every few weeks I will put our pillows in the dryer with dryer sheets let it run for 15 minutes on high , like new, I also do it to our comforter by itself with dryer sheets like new again all fluffy and smells great. If I had twin comforters I would wash them and dry at home.
To me it depends on how it is used for me once a month some every two months. I use top and bottom sheets so it isn’t used as a sheet. My daughter refuses to use a top sheet so hers is washed weekly

I wash the comforters as needed. Ya girl ain't got time for washing and trying to dry a king size comforter. 😂 I wash sheets once normally or twice a week if it needs it. Throw blankets mostly get used and I probably should wash those more often but it gets away from me 😂
Unsolicited advice, save yourself some money and skip the scent beads they are essentially the same as softener and leave a film on clothes and even worse it’s bad for the washer. I do love your videos, I just recently found your channel 🫶. I have three kids, and I find your videos very inspiring to keep me going! I try to follow the fly lady routine, so I wash sheets weekly and try to wash my cover about every other month…try…. I love the little snack cups! It’s so hard to find healthy snacks in single serve portions, plus doing it that way has to cut costs! Definitely going to give it a try
So when I meal prep I do personal size meatloaves (I don't put the sauce until I'm ready to cook it), chilli, taco soup, lasagna, batches of bolognese (spaghetti) sauce, I also buy fresh salmon by the pound, season it & add lemon juice before I put it in the oven or on the grill 💜 As far as comforter washing goes, I have a duvet but we don't sleep under it so I was it about once a month but I wash my daughters comforter every Sunday. I’m a large family too. I wash ours once a month or as needed. Sometimes going to the laundromat is nice because it gets done all at once or the use of a duvet is really practical too 💕

I’ve learned to just take the comforters to the laundry mat 😂 my dryer takes 3-5 business days to dry ours. Here for this motivation today!!!

I wash our comforters as needed, which ends up being about every month to month and a half.
We wash our sheets and comforter once a week, but we have 2 sets of sheets and 2 comforters so when we wash we put on the comforter and sheets we washed the week before so that helps us not having to worry about waiting on the comforters to dry.

That attachment is called the CREVICE tool, I believe. 😂 Yea there’s no reason to wash comforters once a week, that seems excessive to me

I wash the comforters as needed. Ya girl ain't got time for washing and trying to dry a king size comforter. 😂 I wash sheets once normally or twice a week if it needs it. Throw blankets mostly get used and I probably should wash those more often but it gets away from me 😂
I scraped my back when I was little on the tub faucet and I still remember! I always used the covers when mine were little
Unsolicited advice, save yourself some money and skip the scent beads they are essentially the same as softener and leave a film on clothes and even worse it’s bad for the washer. I do love your videos, I just recently found your channel 🫶. I have three kids, and I find your videos very inspiring to keep me going!
I try to follow the fly lady routine, so I wash sheets weekly and try to wash my cover about every other month…try….
I love the little snack cups! It’s so hard to find healthy snacks in single serve portions, plus doing it that way has to cut costs! Definitely going to give it a try
So when I meal prep I do personal size meatloaves (I don't put the sauce until I'm ready to cook it), chilli, taco soup, lasagna, batches of bolognese (spaghetti) sauce, I also buy fresh salmon by the pound, season it & add lemon juice before I put it in the oven or on the grill 💜 As far as comforter washing goes, I have a duvet but we don't sleep under it so I was it about once a month but I wash my daughters comforter every Sunday. I’m a large family too. I wash ours once a month or as needed. Sometimes going to the laundromat is nice because it gets done all at once or the use of a duvet is really practical too 💕
I always love watching and getting new ideas from you from decorating to cleaning and new recipes I have my 2 fur babies sleeping with me so I clean my comforter as needed lol 😂 🐾 hope you all have a wonderful Blessed weekend ❤

I love the Mr clean I use it in the mop buckets for the floors and I make a spray bottle with it mixed with water for counters. It smells so good! Another awesome video Marie!
