If you love 40 Knots it’s quite similar once it dries down to Dior’s Ambre Nuit sans the rose note. But they certainly share a similar vibe and if you want to make Ambre Nuit perform better, layer 40 Knots over top. It’s an amazing layering combination! It’s everything I want AN to be!! Love your taste in fragrances... I really need Lira next. Gran Ballo sounds interesting. Have you tried Bouquet Ideale? It’s a gorgeous and warm spicy cinnamon heavy and creamy ambery vanilla. And the bottle is gorgeous too! I have Erba Pura and love it. It was my first Xerjoff. I truly love this house there are many more on my wishlist! Fars, Cruz Del Sur II, More Than Words, Richwood, Ivory Route, Allende.... that Kemi sounds great too!! 💞💞

Hi from Bahrain, I like the content of your chanel and appreciate the information you give. As for Xerjoff Golden Dallah in Arabic tradition we use a Golden plated pot called Dallah to keep the hot arabic coffee. Arabic coffee is a blend of roasted coffee beans in a special bedwen way mixed with cloves and cardimom, so it is dry, aromatic and spicy.. this blend is boiled and poured into the "Golden Dallah" mixed with saffron threads and rose water.

It might sound weird but I cannot bring myself to buy any because I think the bottles are pretty ugly, they look cheap somehow 🙄 Sure, dont judge the book by its cover but before applying my fragrance I like to look at the bottle first and feel “attracted” to it, it’s like a ritual for me.
I can understand that sentiment, Bella. I don't mind the bottles, but they aren't my favorite either. There are definitely other fragrances I wouldn't buy because of the bottles, though. Sometimes for those I just buy decants instead.

Oh I definitely thought of you while filming this! I had a tiny vial sample of that and remember liking it. It was really fruity and if I remember correctly had a lot of mango??? I need to get a proper sample of that. I hate vial samples. Lol!
Oh yes, you should definitely try more. They definitely have a wide variety of options. I'm a huge gourmand and caramel lover, so Lira is a favorite for me.
I think ZGO Perfumery (online and in SF) has Italica in stock. I love it. Just got a decant from them, and it's probably one of the most amazing things I've ever smelled. I love Lira, too, but tbh it actually smells just like Aquolina Pink Sugar to me but it's more expensive and not as long lasting.

Yes, I love it! It might lean a tiny bit masculine, but I personally think it's pretty unisex. It does seem like more men tend to review/own it, though.

Hi Tara, just following up to let u know I tried and bought 40 Knots (at a great price). IMO From the nozzle and at first spray it seems a touch masculine but, then it quickly settles and softens to unisex. I LOVE IT. It is addictive. There’s this woody, boozy, little Spicey, smokey combo that is so well blended. The saltiness comes n goes for me, smells more like salty air than the actual salt water (to me). In any case thank u for ur description and insights- super helpful. Btw- r u still liking Angels Share?
Been into this house recently! Do you get the strong synthetic note with Erba Pura? For the first 5 seconds it’s really nice then 💥 I get hit with that synthetic note 😔
I assume that would depend on where you live. I've never paid customs fees for any packages from any company before, but I know we're lucky in that regard here in the U.S. It's pretty rare. I think people in the U.K. get hit with customs fees when getting packages from other countries, though.

It might sound weird but I cannot bring myself to buy any because I think the bottles are pretty ugly, they look cheap somehow 🙄 Sure, dont judge the book by its cover but before applying my fragrance I like to look at the bottle first and feel “attracted” to it, it’s like a ritual for me.
I can understand that sentiment, Bella. I don't mind the bottles, but they aren't my favorite either. There are definitely other fragrances I wouldn't buy because of the bottles, though. Sometimes for those I just buy decants instead.

Oh I definitely thought of you while filming this! I had a tiny vial sample of that and remember liking it. It was really fruity and if I remember correctly had a lot of mango??? I need to get a proper sample of that. I hate vial samples. Lol!

Oh yes, you should definitely try more. They definitely have a wide variety of options. I'm a huge gourmand and caramel lover, so Lira is a favorite for me.
I think ZGO Perfumery (online and in SF) has Italica in stock. I love it. Just got a decant from them, and it's probably one of the most amazing things I've ever smelled. I love Lira, too, but tbh it actually smells just like Aquolina Pink Sugar to me but it's more expensive and not as long lasting.

Yes, I love it! It might lean a tiny bit masculine, but I personally think it's pretty unisex. It does seem like more men tend to review/own it, though.

Hi Tara, just following up to let u know I tried and bought 40 Knots (at a great price).
IMO From the nozzle and at first spray it seems a touch masculine but, then it quickly settles and softens to unisex. I LOVE IT. It is addictive. There’s this woody, boozy, little Spicey, smokey combo that is so well blended. The saltiness comes n goes for me, smells more like salty air than the actual salt water (to me). In any case thank u for ur description and insights- super helpful. Btw- r u still liking Angels Share?

I think a lot of their fragrances are unisex. I think Dama Bianca and Gran Ballo are often worn more by women, though.

Thanks, Paola! It is fairly strong, but not "beast mode" or overpowering. I'd say on me it usually lasts about 8 hours. Hope that helps!

I assume that would depend on where you live. I've never paid customs fees for any packages from any company before, but I know we're lucky in that regard here in the U.S. It's pretty rare. I think people in the U.K. get hit with customs fees when getting packages from other countries, though.
