Cross Examination at a Wedding - Spoken Word Poem

My channel is expanding!
I have been personally been asked more times than I care to recall, why I don’t have a baby and when I will be changing that fact. It is an unbelievably intrusive question.
One summer, I was at my friends wedding and a [well-intentioned] Aunty I had never met in my life started interrogating me. It ended with her grabbing my sweaty palms, without warning, so she could “pray for my womb”.
It was an overwhelming experience. I channeled my feelings into 'Cross Examination at a Wedding'. This spoken word piece is for anyone who has ever had to endure a moment like this. Don’t forget to tell them that the life growing inside you is your own.
