    Nabers would be DOPE

    These 30 visits are too valuable to use as "smoke screens". The Colts must have legit interest in Nabers, having sent a contingent to LSU's pro-day. I think we'd need to move up to 6th (NYG) to have a shot at Nabers or possibly Odunze if Nabers is already taken. Will take 15, 46, 2025 1st and maybe a sweetener.

    This would be the Draft when Ballard changes his approach from "I loves them picks" to focusing on one or two blue-chippers to join AR5 and help max out his potential. I wouldn't care if we only wound up with 3 or 4 picks this year if they brought elite talent and the explosiveness Ballard/Steichen want to add.

    Thank you guys for the content. Y'all definitely do it a different way however KEEP BEING DIFFERENT THERE'S ENOUGH COLTS PODCAST THAT TRY TO DO IT SO PROFESSIONAL YET THEY ARE BORING AS HELL.

    If CB jumped up to get Nabers or Bowers, I would be STUNNED. I don't think it's in his DNA.

      I think we all would be! I really feel like Steichen is in his ear more than ever and has some power to persuade him to make a move he wouldn't normally make.

    I have this little voice in the back of my head saying on draft night Irsay is going to command Ballard to do whatever it takes to get MHJ.

    I would offer 15 and next year's 1 round pick for MHJ or Nabers

    No way, the 30 visit maybe info on Thomas jr. Ballard isn't built for that jump

    Guys, the Colts also brought WR Xavier Worthy in for a Top 30 visit. On April 25th the Colts will trade pick 15 for a pick between 19 and 27, acquire another pick and draft WR Xavier Worthy from Texas. If the Colts do move into the top nine it will be to take TE Brock Bowers before the Jets pick at 10.

    • @thecoltscast
      @thecoltscast  4 місяці тому

      Moving up for a TE is kinda crazy IMO.
      I do like worthy!

      @@thecoltscast I honestly do not think Ballard will move up for any of these players. He wants more picks, not less.

    They need a stud CB. Stay at 15, take your guy OR trade back and still get your guy. Round 2 target your WR and trade UP if necessary to get him.
    If we don’t get a good CB you can kiss the season goodbye because the Texans will walk all over us (Nico Collin’s did by himself). The titans should be getting blown out of the building by the colts but it’s always close because we let a fkn rookie look like Tom Brady against our corners. Enough is enough.

    If he falls to 8, i would swap 1st, give up Kwity Paye, this years 3rd, and next years 2nd. Maybe 1st if next years 2nd wouldnt do it. The falcons want defense anyways. Also next years draft wont be as good as this years so it would be wise to hold on to our 2nd rounder this year. Maybe get Max melton or TJ Tampa.

    • @thecoltscast

      @thecoltscast More of a business decision in this case. His contract will be up soon. I get the hesitation, though.

    I hate that Minshew brought us to a possible one and done instead of keeping us maybe top 8 in the draft... Minshew looked average against a garbage schedule...

      Yeah but you don’t want to root for your team to lose. We were one play away from the playoffs

    Why would you trade 2 first round draft picks and potentially a second or third for Justin Jefferson 2.0 when you could probably get Justin Jefferson 1.0 for a single first?

    • @thecoltscast
      @thecoltscast  4 місяці тому +2

      It seems like you completely missed our entire point of why one of those first round picks given up is essentially a pick swap

    • @iGoldenWax
      @iGoldenWax 4 місяці тому

      @@thecoltscast but you still have to use the pick. At the end of the day you’re using two firsts AND more for the possibility of maybe getting someone as good as JJ. Why not use less capital to get the 100% guarantee

    • @thecoltscast
      @thecoltscast  4 місяці тому

      Because you’re not getting Justin Jefferson for one first round pick. An established product will cost more than a prospect. Either way, we view one of those firsts as a pick swap because we would have to use the pick regardless of the trade

    • @iGoldenWax
      @iGoldenWax 4 місяці тому

      @@thecoltscast JJ is about to get groundbreaking money which brings down his trade value. Tyreke hill went for a 1,2,5,6 which is still less than what you’re proposing for someone who MIGHT be as good. Why not get the real thing?

    • @Savage-si2kb
      @Savage-si2kb 4 місяці тому

      @@iGoldenWaxI think you’re just too dumb to realize that the 2024 first round picks in the trade would be swapped. You’re not really giving it up because you’re getting another first round pick in the same year in return. Then, you’re trading a future first and the other stuff
