- The 2018 International Building Code (IBC) and 2018 International Residential Code (IRC) published by the International Code Council are now available. This presentation will provide an overview of the significant changes to wood design and construction provisions relative to previous editions.

I watched this whole video thinking it was about dealing with IBS. It wasn't until the very end that I realized that IBS isn't even mentioned once. I am still struggling with IBS, but I was able to draft some plans for an addition to my home and get it approved by the city for a residential building permit.

constant code changes yet consistently engineering "gray areas" that create confusion and inconsistencies among codes; in addition to the fact that they are mandatory to follow, must be erradicated at once since they represent a hazzard to the public and a shame to the construction industry.
absolutely a number one in my book, accessibility and height requirements are always at odds with eachother.
