Hello, I have a somewhat obscure question for you. I have a Honeywell EGPWS that I would like to find a software update for (specifically the main application/production software and not the terrain database.) I believe that Honeywell distributed the files (at least on CD at some point) but I cannot find them anywhere. I don’t know how these updates are stored in the airlines, but is there like a big maintenance server or something where you could maybe find these files or just confirm that such updates do indeed exist? Thank you.
Hi, you can only know the software about the box from box manufacturers or part145 approved box shops. If you are going to use your box for aircraft, MPD is used for maintenance in 145 approved organizations, maintenance and production planning departments contact the aircraft manufacturer.The aircraft manufacturer can send you the box's software update with SB, which is suitable for the effective of your aircraft you will install. As you know, for the flight safety of the aircraft, we should not do such things without the knowledge of the aircraft manufacturer. If you send me the part number of the box and the latest software number, I can search and send the contact information to you.Regards
