So I’m fairly new to this wig life due to alopecia aerate. There is a difference between wearing wigs for fun because you have hair and can play and depending on wigs to feel normal. I had bomb hair. Anywho, wigs are not cheap and I have had horrible experiences buying them. Seems the more expensive the more natural they look and I mean expensive! You have truly made the synthetic units look really cute and they are affordable. One thing I have noticed is units don’t seem to look the same after the first wear. I’m not sure how to care or store units to keep them in their best condition. I’m not a financially wealthy woman and these joints can become somewhat of a crack type of thing cuz they all have personality! I love your reviews because the units really look nice to be synthetic. I won’t lie, I’m scared of synthetic because they mat easy and they are hot. I guess I have to build up my arsenal😆😆 Do you have a video for caring for the unit tips to make it last? Do you wash synthetic? If so, how without them tangling? How do you keep them shiny and fresh? Is there anything you can use to keep curly hair from swelling up, something to calm the curls down? Sorry, I’m just trying to learn so I’m not our here lookin all wiggy and whatnot🤷🏾♀️ Thanks!
Hey love! So I do not have one particular video. I kind of mention it across several. But to save time,
1. I store my wig back in bags or plastic baggies (brush out, and do not seal all the way to keep it from sweating). I have a bookshelf in garage thar i stack them on and a bin for the extra.
2. I have A LOT of wigs but I do have wig sales so most of them leave after 1 wear.
3. If I wear a wig again, it is mainly the natural curly texture ones. They are the EASIEST to style and no fuss through the day.
4. I rarely wash synthetic because it can change the texture. If long. I may cut matted ends after i tried my first method of wetting ends with spray bottle, using nairobi setting wrap lotion on ends, then blow drying it. (All products linked in description)
5. I never fully wash units, but I have sprayed them down with water and cowash mix. Then blow dried.
6. I use garnier fructis sleek and shine to add a natural shine to unit and alleviate flyaways.
7. A hot comb and blow dryer does magic to the tops of units to flatten. Definitely grab one

The two different curl pattern is interesting. The super curln in the back makes the front look like it fell out of the curls. Definitely could have chose one or the other. Loving the 2nd one for sure, she's my fav out if the two.
