Fantastic mixture of world music, classical and rock'n'roll rolled into one. The guitar solos are excellent as is the African drumming and Mike's multitracked lead vocals.
Several years ago, my stepmother, introduced me to to his first Albums, and even when I told her, that Catie Melua sounds almoust like M.B. Songs, she wouldn't believe. UNBELIEVIBLE. It was so obvious. So, Mike and Melua was a perfect combination. Until now, like B. Dickson or Meluas Interpretation of a Randy Newman Song is so perfect.
