Great content, thanks for sharing the results. Most know that’s a lot of work & time just to answer a lot of viewers questions. Great job bro

Fizzle intercooler adds boost and rpm, very interesting. I guess thats why its so important to data log in case your tune needs adjusted. Great video
At one point is a stock svho intercooler need to be upgraded to a aftermarket option?is there alot of reliability benefits or just more so performance gains?
Outstanding work Greg! Love to see a clutch replacement video when the time comes!
Sold my ski to pre-order a 2024 rxt im excited for for this new ecu and lamba control mybe ill see you out in Louisiana water ways next summer untill then these videos keep me sane
Us fast guys choose fizzle! But this was a really great statistical scientific comparison. I respect this!! Great video
Would these intercoolers help with heat soak on a stage 1 plus tune or is the stock intercooler sufficient
Greg , thank you again for the great and informative video. Have a safe new years eve.
I don’t know enough to argue when I do I’ll still keep my mouth shut. People putting out videos to help others is a good thing give a like. thank this guy or move on
Great comparison between those two intercoolers. Did you notice a shift of the center of gravity after the installation of the Riva intercooler? I‘ve replaced the gen 2 Riva intercooler with the gen 3 from Riva on my 2016 FZR. Since the gen 3 is mounted on the port side, the ski slightly tilts to the left now at slow to moderate speeds. Did you experience that too?
I did notice at idle it does lean slightly to the left. Once the ski in planed it’s unnoticeable
Good job Greg. Can you post the GoPro video of the MapTuner?
Unfortunately the footage was useless because of the glare. Can’t see anything in the footage
Did cutting the vent out make much of a difference 🤔 any cons? Yours looks really clean nice job.
I didn’t do back to back testing, but I’m sure it’s making a difference. The only downside is your front hatch is now open to the elements. If you ride in rough water you will undoubtedly get water splashed into the front hatch. I ride in flat water with mild chop at the most so I’m not worried about any water being splashed in.
@@GreenHulkGarage I see, I was wondering about that. I don't like to ride in Choppy conditions, but sometimes weather changes more people get on the water wind picks up.
@@GreenHulkGarage I would like to get together and do a ride sometime when all of you go on a all day ride. seems like it would be a lot of fun. I would have to plan for it since I live in kokomo indiana. I do have my winters available so time wouldn't be a problem.
We plan a ride here every spring, summer, and fall. Checkout GreenHulk.net and look for the MudBug section for the dates
JAMES FIZZLE FOR THE WIN!!!
Do you use que cards for producing your videos? Your constantly looking away from the camera and to the left like your looking at a prompter. I still gave you a like.
@@GreenHulkGarage No problem bro! Looking forward to learning more about skis from you.
Can you show how you cut out the front of the ski for my air? I drilled 1” holes and don’t think that did much. Yours looks clean and produces better results.
What type of life jacket is that?
How much for u to install ?..
Great job Greg. Excellent content as always. I’m wrapping up my stage 2 install with the retainers today and have the fizzle with the Riva pro series cooling kit and Solas 13/18 installed. Were you running the stage 2 agr 9200 tune when it was going lean? Is there a tune available that’s a tad richer?
Yes I was running the Stage 2 9200 AGR tune when it ran lean. I’m not sure if Jesus has a tune for it ready to go, I would email him and find out.
Try upgrading your fuel pump could be on the limit of stock fuel pumps gpm
Glad to see the Caparison I went with the fizzle because it was a little easier to install in the fact that it ran cooler in I didn't tune with maptuner x was able to tell Dean all of my mod so they can tune for it so mine not running lean.
I would like to now what do you like or love more rxpx 2022 or svho 1800 2022
My SVHO has nearly 100 hours on it and my RXPX has only 30 hours..I think the ride time proves which ski I prefer 😄
Hey Greg, I just bought a 22 GP1800R SVHO and am going to install a Riva Stage 2 kit. Just wondering how important the free flow exhaust is as I’ve heard there is minimal to no performance gain but have caused vibrations etc. what is your take on this? Also going to add the Riva intake grate, Ride plate and Sponsons. How critical do you think the Intake grate and ride plate are to acceleration and top speed?
I’m not the biggest fan of the free flow exhaust but I would definitely do away with the stock exhaust. The free flow exhaust does have some drone to it. I would do the rear exit exhaust. The stock exhaust is made of plastic and rubber and isn’t the best material to use on a higher performing ski that is creating more heat. The RIVA ride plate is a drastic improvement for both top speed and acceleration. Unless you plan on riding in rough water, I would leave the stock intake grate. The RIVA grate will keep you glued to the water in rougher conditions and improve the hole shot but some top speed will be sacrificed
@@GreenHulkGarage thanks so much for the detailed response. I almost exclusively ride in the ocean which is rarely super calm. I am a bit torn on wether or not to do the intake grate as I don’t want to lose top speed but wondering wether the benefit for some rougher condition improvement would outweigh losing some top speed. What’s your take on benefit vs loss of top speed? I am concerned about going rear exit due to drastically modifying the transom and drilling through. I also don’t want a super noisy ski that vibrates, would you say the rear exit is louder and causes vibration more so than the free flow exhaust. I also watched your video on the need to do the intake manifold upgrade which I will also do. Is there anything else you recommend doing that is bolt on that is going to help overall?
If you ride in rough water frequently then I would absolutely do the RIVA intake grate. The speed loss is very minimal and will go unnoticed unless you compare the GPS speed. It’ll greatly improve the ski in the chop. I haven’t noticed any vibration with the free flow or the rear exit; on a stage 2 I’d do the free flow at a minimum. Yes the intake manifold upgrade is NECESSARY! Unfortunately it is a flawed design from the factory but the intake manifold upgrade completely solves the issue. Stage 2 with the RIVA ride plate, intake grate, and intake manifold upgrade is absolutely perfect for a ski that will spend most of its time in rough water. You’ll definitely be satisfied with those modifications
@@GreenHulkGarage that’s been an awesome help. Do you think the Riva water box is worth the upgrade?
Hey Greg
Can you leave maptuner plugged into ecu while driving ski and leave the factory plug out of ecu ?
I want to check rpm on mapx while riding !
No you cannot, but you can use the optional diagnostic cable to do this

How many hours on your gp now ?
How’s the clutch feeling ?
@@GreenHulkGarage that’s awesome i have 35hrs on mine with stage 2 8800 tune, ribbon delete , riva air intake and fizzle with tail bov, 13/20 running 8500rpm. I was worried about my clutch as i do ride in ocean most the time. Love the vids mate honestly my favourite JetSki vids online.
@@stevenszabo9814 even if clutch goes you will still be able to limp home at 4500 rpm’s
How did you cut that vent out🤔
A drill and a dremel tool. I’ll post a video in the future showing the process that I did
@@GreenHulkGarage ok cool thanks. How are those Sponsens, you put that seat cover on to give you better grip looks awesome did it help. I have been looking for a follow up video, didn't see one. I was curious how that all turned out.
The sponsons and seat cover are amazing and well worth the money! I’ll do a follow up video soon
@@GreenHulkGarage I'll definitely be looking for it. Its fun watching the before and afters videos. to cold to ride here at the moment, so I watch a lot of modification videos to give me ideas.
still waiting for the stage 3 RXP-X here :) .. is happing Soon ??
Unfortunately some of the parts required have been on backorder. I have 75% of the parts waiting to be installed on my work bench, hopefully it won’t be too much longer before I get the others.
The Riva intercooler have cost me 2 engines..they r very prune to leaks !
Thanks for this video! Do you have any experience with dash pac for logging? Did it work well? Does the maptuner logging work with oem gauges?
Dashpac works awesome. MaptunerX logging displays all engine parameters on the MaptunerX device. Far more info than the stock gauges can display.
@@GreenHulkGarage I purchased the logging app for maptuner from you and riva says the live monitoring is not included. How can I get the monitoring like you? Riva won't tell me
Fizzle ftw
I’m on the fence between the riva intercooler and fizzle for my GP1800r SVHO
