I'll be honest with you, Viv, I was really thinking this contraption would have you looking crazy but I LOVE the end result. You look so pretty 🥺 and the volume it gave you. Very beautiful look!
@@VivHairTherapy I havent seen you try anything that doesnt look great on you but because you have so much hair I think you should try using 2-4 long satin ribbons , just sew them all together in the middle , kind of like an octopus, that way you can make each section tighter and closer to the roots and the curl will be on the full length on your hair and not just the bottom .
Am I the only one who thinks she looks so adorable with her hair ON the roller? As well as with the resulting curls? I think her hair looks gorgeous pulled back that way.
One thought apart - I have to mention this. I appreciate that you never ask your viewers to subscribe until the very end of your video. Sometimes I have already stopped watching a video that I was interested in after a few seconds because the person right away asked me to like and subscribe before they had given me any content upon which to base my decision, and I thought "If you start off like this I don't even want to see the rest". You never do that and always acknowledge that it's a matter of taste. I love that and am subscribed for two years already. Never disappointed. 😉 So: Thank you! 😎
The saint's halo when you first took it out, the Medusa look when you shook your head, the Foxy Cleopatra after styling, you make them all work. Madness? Magic!
The interesting thing is, I think it made Viv's curls look sleeker and tighter than the bathrobe curls. But on the model with straight hair it looks no different to how my bathrobe curls look on my straight hair. So maybe a worthwhile product for naturally curly hair but I wouldn't buy it.
I just bought one of these! The one I found sold 2 for the price of 1, though. You have so much beautiful hair that, if you wanted, you might want to try a second one so that all of your hair gets a tight twist at the root. You can do the front to sections on one and the back two sections on another. Just a thought I had while watching you twist. Beautiful as always.
I saw a youtuber use 2 of them and it came out even nicer. She parted her hair from ear to ear and used them just as directed. She also parted her hair in the back in zig zag so the part was hidden even better.
I would love if you could get hold of Brad Mondo's hair colour Xmondo Red and try that on your hair! Supposed to be super moisturising and nourishing colour, haven't seen a video of it used on natural curly hair like yours x
I would love to see Viv add to the Anything But Curlers series with those weird triangle-shaped pencils! I’m super curious about how those curls would turn out!
Every time I see someone do the bathrobe curls (or anything similar ) I can't help thinking that it would look even better with 2 robe belts, strips of fabric, long curlers, etc. instead of just one. Especially for thick hair types. I would really love to see the difference it would make with your hair :)
I think these curls did end up a little cleaner and more uniform, so maybe it was worth it to buy the actual product! I liked these curls better than the foam ring curls, too, which was surprising, cuz I thought they'd be the same. You look amazing, as always, no matter what you use!
How in the world did u make that crazy looking thing look regal & majestic?!😃 It looked like a crown. Crazy ends but u still made it look good. And were funny as heck as well.🙌
I love your videos! Could you do a "Best of the Best"? Like which techniques started as a hair hack, but worked so well that you actually still use them
I wonder how it would look if you used two of these since you have so much hair. Like split your hair in two. Use one one on the top half & the other one on the bottom. That way you can pull it closer to the roots..
This looked so good on you! You can definitely see a difference. I'm curious if using t-shirt/tank top covered in a satin pillow case would give the same result. I just don't want to spend money if I can get a similar result for free.
Hey Viv you should cut out the inside part of this hair tool and put in your own smaller squishier so you can have the silk part but have it around a smaller inside that works better for your hair. The company should make different sizes for all different types of hair.
I think it turned out so pretty- not too much of a difference from using the cloth you did before, i used both an old scarf i cut up and the cloth belt/tie from my robe folded in half and both techniques worked amazingly well using dampen hair, i think its helps to have something with qualitly material that will fully absorb any amount of dampness/drenched soaked hair is key....love this look on you girl
So happy I stumbled upon your tutorial using this satin roller on your natural hair. There are few if any videos out there like this. I prefer the results on you using the satin roller. I bought mine I’m anxious to try it out!
I was really wondering if the product would work. I might have been hoping a bit that it wouldn’t be as good as the hack, so we could say they didn’t need to make a whole product for this style. but it turned out looking so so good and I’m happy about it. So pretty at the end!
It came out cute!! I agree with another commentor that you should try 2 of the curlers next time. Another UA-camr Curly Crys used the same tool, just a different brand. She did a 2nd video using 2 and she loved her results even more because there was more curls in the back using 2 of them.
I think you should try 2. of the curler devices One at the top and one for the back part of your head that’s puffy you will get much much better results
With that contraption, you're ready for the star wars lekku. Honestly, jokes aside, I think you need 2 of them so you get decent curls in the back as well or just stick to granny brown paper wraps.
I haven't seen the end yet but I feel like maybe you would benefit from 2 rollers? One on top and one on the bottom so you aren't doing all your hair in one roll and it can be tighter? Just a thought!
nOT SURE WHETHER ITS DUE TO THE COLOR DIFFERENCE IN THE BEFORE IMAGES, BUT I WOULD SAY THE FACT THAT THE MATERIAL WQAS MADE OUT OF SATIN DEFINITLEY LEFT YOUR HAIR LOOKING WAY MORE MOISTERIZED AND SHINY .
All I could think about as I watched this video was that I would just go to my local Dollar Tree, get a pool noodle, cut it down to size, cover it with a satin pillowcase and then attempt the style. Would cost less.
I have this sitting on my dresser ready to return. I tried in my hair straightened and it was just too slick and short. Let me see if your results make me reconsider 👀👀
Just remember anything will curl your hair just as long as your can wrap your hair around it. I curl my hair with nylon rope because it was the most cost effective way to rollers the length I need. I think the only reason you did better this time is because you just did something similar last video and your technique is better.
I used my bathrobe tie for a year before biting the bullet and buying this product. I could INSTANTLY see the difference. The satin material and size of it makes beautiful, frizz-free curls

i really like your smile =) u have very lovely smile, u remind me that i should smile more too
I'll be honest with you, Viv, I was really thinking this contraption would have you looking crazy but I LOVE the end result. You look so pretty 🥺 and the volume it gave you. Very beautiful look!
Thank you ☺️

I was thinking the same! I think a patterned one would look really cool like a super elegant headband or ribbon tucked in
She can do literally anything and pull it off lol

Sweetie, no one cares about 1 like 😂😅 Some people are delusional about the tiny power they think they have on youtube.
The saint's halo when you first took it out, the Medusa look when you shook your head, the Foxy Cleopatra after styling, you make them all work. Madness? Magic!
Viv can do literally anything to her hair and look STUNNING in the end.
Agreed 🙂👍

It's giving 70's blown out, Pam Grier-esque, Jackie Brown teas and I'm living for it!!

@@ToyaRR Really smart idea
The end result looks so beautiful. I hate to say it but I think the product gave a better result.
I would love if you could get hold of Brad Mondo's hair colour Xmondo Red and try that on your hair! Supposed to be super moisturising and nourishing colour, haven't seen a video of it used on natural curly hair like yours x
I use his purple and I love it! I would love to see Viv use it.
I would love to see that also!
I would love to see Viv add to the Anything But Curlers series with those weird triangle-shaped pencils! I’m super curious about how those curls would turn out!
I think it actually helped that the rod wasnt tighter to your scalp! It made the hair pre-fluffed & big without needing to pick the roots
Curlie chrys did 2 of these at the same time to try and reduce the pouf. One on top of head and one midway down.

Viv, the 2022 version is way much better! Shinier and less frizzy it looked beautiful.
The curls look great on you with nice volume. Company should have you test smaller sized one for them! 😁
Aaah, the end result is so good! The 70s vibes are strong
I love your videos! Could you do a "Best of the Best"? Like which techniques started as a hair hack, but worked so well that you actually still use them

Girl... Every single time you end up looking so freaking gorgeous!
I am going to try this in a old braid out with setting lotion and pray it turns out as think nice in the morning
I'm gonna need a 70's look from you with some bell bottoms and everything with that hair.
If you think about it, it’s just a really long flexi rod with a satin cover
The end result was very nice! Wondering what next day hair looked like and how you put up your hair at night.
Gosh! Your hair came out so pretty!!
I am shook, it actually worked and looked good
This looked so good on you! You can definitely see a difference. I'm curious if using t-shirt/tank top covered in a satin pillow case would give the same result. I just don't want to spend money if I can get a similar result for free.
I loved it...your hair alone is gorgeous...definitely one of my hair crushes
Wow, I really love the results. Pleasantly surprised by this product
Wow Viviana!! I love this result! Absolutely beautiful!!!!
Hair came out better than I expected only because it looked so loose, but when you master it it's going to be fire😍
WOW that thing really works way better than a scarf. Beautiful 😍😍😍
Beautiful! Watching the curls slide off the silk pull was satisfying
Hey Viv you should cut out the inside part of this hair tool and put in your own smaller squishier so you can have the silk part but have it around a smaller inside that works better for your hair. The company should make different sizes for all different types of hair.
The curls on you turned out to be some sort of 70’s/80’s look on you. I like it! 🤗
You look so beautiful with your hair like this! Like 70s vibes!! You're always gorgeous!
The roller one gave you less frizz it looks like. But pretty much the same thing. It's the fabric that made the difference.
I love these type of videos. THANK YOU.

I love the thickness of your hair and the stile looks good
Your videos always give me such joy! Gorgeous and lovedddd the way your hair looked at the end! The curls looked great!
Great results! I bought these recently and wated to try them without heat so glad I found this!
So happy I stumbled upon your tutorial using this satin roller on your natural hair. There are few if any videos out there like this. I prefer the results on you using the satin roller. I bought mine I’m anxious to try it out!
The results are far better than expected.😍😍😍
Wow!! This turned out gorgeous!!!
I'm living for the Amaidala hairstyle when you have all your hair up and curls
I was really wondering if the product would work. I might have been hoping a bit that it wouldn’t be as good as the hack, so we could say they didn’t need to make a whole product for this style. but it turned out looking so so good and I’m happy about it. So pretty at the end!
I love the result! For future videos, could you also show us how the back looks?
It looks even better when you use it on blow dried/stretched hair
I think it came out so gorgeous 🥺✨

Wow, you look stunning Viv. I love that it.
These turned out amazing!
Wow
This looks so much better than the robe curls
That turned out beautifully
I like it! I bet the octopus one would work great for your hair!
Wait when did you... I didn't get a notification even though it was on 😯
I think you should try 2. of the curler devices One at the top and one for the back part of your head that’s puffy you will get much much better results
So I just put these too together.. I made a long cloth and then stuff that to make it thicker and bomb it might work
wow this came out really beautiful
The hack wasn't bad the the real thing does seem like the curls are a bit smoother and more consistent. But you always look beautiful!
You have literally never had a bad hair day!
With that contraption, you're ready for the star wars lekku.
Honestly, jokes aside, I think you need 2 of them so you get decent curls in the back as well or just stick to granny brown paper wraps.
It turned out so good actually
Such a mood! Truly lovely Viv...
It looks so good! I love that style on you! :)
With the item in, it was giving Ahsoka from Star Wars
I love this one. I think it is tighter than the hack but would work in a pinch
I feel like this one ended up feeling more like the 70's style Farrah Fawcett type style. Both good, but I think I think this one best
You really raised the VOLUME here😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I haven't seen the end yet but I feel like maybe you would benefit from 2 rollers? One on top and one on the bottom so you aren't doing all your hair in one roll and it can be tighter? Just a thought!
It looks GREAT though omg

It looks really good. Smoother than the previous try. Maybe your hair is longer ? and the silk did some smoothing it appears?
But how does it look at the back?!
Love you Viv!! So excited for this Video!!
It came out so pretty , you should try it on blow out hair for sleeker results
There’s nothing wrong with textured results either.
All I could think about as I watched this video was that I would just go to my local Dollar Tree, get a pool noodle, cut it down to size, cover it with a satin pillowcase and then attempt the style. Would cost less.
The only reason I’m going to buy this is because of her. Beautiful hair.
Okay I love it, I was a bit skeptical.
I love this so much! You look amazing.
You betta come with the volume Viv!!!
Im obssesssed with the result🥵
I feel like you can't miss
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love this Viv! Keep up with the madness much love ❤️❤️❤️❤️ bless up zeen
I think the spider looking one would work better for you so much lovely hair.
The second looks better cause I think the tube is more firmer then the cloth
Not bad. Needs a smaller foam tube tho.
It looks great I love the results
Wow it came out beautifully... maybe if they made the roller thinner, it may be easier
Absolutely love this look on you! 😍😍
I have this sitting on my dresser ready to return. I tried in my hair straightened and it was just too slick and short. Let me see if your results make me reconsider 👀👀
Can you try the steamplex moisture styler curls/waves or beachy wave maker :)
The results were great!!!!
Much better than thought it would be, love it, I have this and yours look great ❤
You looked so cute.
I think it turned out good
Just remember anything will curl your hair just as long as your can wrap your hair around it.
Looks beautiful!
