I came back to the game 2 moths ago after 2years break. I've learnt few things about making a good new account. 1) As you said it's very important to participate in events. New player should be always in top 50, because you get decorative item for this. Also always try to make all missions in event book that gives you decorative items and equipment pieces. Maybe on Nomads and Samurais it;s enough to obtain last piece of equipment, because you don't want lvl up fast. 2) Don't care about missions. You shouldn't do this missions. You need time to prepare for lvl 70 and it's better to obtain experience during the Nomad invasion. Also you can forget about robber barons but it;s up to you. 3) Castle gardens from aqua are your best friends. You should fill all your castles with them. Public order is crucial for you, because you want produce tools as fast as possible and have more food production. 4) On the low lvl you will be notice that if you an active player you have always problems with mantlets. As I mentioned in point 3 castel gardens helps but you should use the lowest number of mantlets as you can. Sacrificial waves are crucial. Not only during the foreigners invasion but also during Nomads and Samurais. On the low lvl 2-3 sacrificial waves can destroy all NPC's machines on the wall. Also troops are not that important because you will get so many of them from events that you can't feed them all during the nigth and it;s better to sacrifice more troops than tools. 5) Prepare your castle for 70lvl and don't build any useless buildings. Don't build production buildings, homes and defensive siege. I remember Breor's movie about castle layout. You sholud have this same on low lvl, because resources you will get from events and in good alliance always someone will send you wood and stone. 6) produce as much mantlets as you can in all your castles. Be an active player and ask for a resources in your alliance. Sorry for my English, but it;s not my primary language. Another great tactic is going very slow. Just level up very slowly to lvl 70 but always get at least top 20 in all events and top 5-10 in long event. This way you will get tons of rubies you can then use for ruby buildings so you save huge amounts of time in the future. Also this way you will have all equipment spaces filled up for lvl 70.

Haven't played the game in 6 years and I finally found it but I can't remember my Facebook account information so I have to start all the way over I think I stop playing because it was taking me days to build an upgrade things and I slowly stop playing
I wish they'd make more permanent appearances for both commanders, buildings and world-map icons etc. ANd if it provides a little benefit that's fine.. it's a great way to spend rubies without making the game too pay to win
I use to play this game since the beginning... Never spent a penny and I was about almost lvl 60... I was in a kick ass team and got my castle burned few times buy the money spending players got tired and quit... 😂😜 It was fun though...
Some of your advice here is a bit off for new players. All mats are important when you first start off because you need them to build troops, buildings, defenses. The more mats you have the faster you can build these things. In the beginning it is pretty easy to farm but it gets harder as you go up (I'm lvl 52 now). You might burn those buildings down at lvl 70 but even at my level I'd be screwed without them.
6:35 and then there's me, no connections, just an average level 60. Gets invited into a top 50 alliance. This is US1 btw Also for any new players, seasonal starts on the 4th or 5th of each month. Only hit Bloodcrow and Foreign Invasion castles for events (No nomads or samurai) when you're a low level. Now the paradox here is that it is MUCH easier to level to 70 than it was before, but you must try and level as slowly as you can (while doing the important stuff of course!). Also, for a low level - join a nice, average (or even small!) sized alliance that does events (for alliance rewards, 400 horrors is insanely good at low levels) and that are willing to help new players like you build up. For outposts: either do some diplomacy stuff and ask around for really good outposts, or move to the edge of the populated zone and capture unoccupied golden food outposts. Now you are all set to slowly make your way up to level 70. Now we talk about public order: Don't build ANYTHING public order related except for parks and castle gardens(and whatever you need to finish quests in the early game). Also place the public order rewards you get from events, it boosts your might and gives a lot of public order. Why only hit Bloodcrows and Foreign Invasion NPCs? Nomads and samurai (and beri invasion if GGE decides postponing it isn't a really wise idea) give too much xp. Also, the Bloodcrows and Foreign Invasion give you pieces of the Invader set, which is a very good pvp set. Also, the rubies for events are ONLY for those level 10-29. So try to stay there as long as possible for the rubies. (60-69 is the other golden level gap, though you'll figure out why by then). At low levels, there are 75% off sales(there are only 50% sales at level 70). Buy ruby buildings when that sale for that level of building is on, but only if it's an important building like bakery or stables. Don't go off spending rubies on town houses or willows of experience. Take it slow and you will be as good (or maybe better in some ways!) than some of the 70/800s. Now for my criticism of the video that literally is pointless: Barracks don't give you better troops (compared to those horrors I was talking about if you joined a decent alliance). The keep isn't actually that useful of an upgrade. (probably just read off all the points for Breor's next video but screw that.)
Your wrong. Keep is an important upgrade, it significantly reduces ammount of time needed to upgrade/construct buildings. Barracks are needed to train coun troops that you should use to particapate in events.
Hi Breor, I have made a new account once a month since 2013 in the game. GGE gives lots of generous gifts to new players. The best for low level players to advance in their game is do nonstop attacks on Nomads and Samurai camps. This will give low levels crazy mass amounts of resources, rewards and very easy to win nobility contests. I have taken a new account and took first place and win over 5000 to 10000 rubies per contest. Once you reach level 70 you dont get that unless you can beat the top 70.
hello. So I am a level 20 low level player with over 120k might without spending a single dollar on GGE. My advice is DONT DO NOMADS AND SAMURIA! They give way to much exp. What I do is I make exactly top 20 in FL/BC so i can get 3.5k-4.5k rubies and the deco. I also just barely finish the entire event so i can get that one complete commander set. Rescources can still be obtained by FL/BC and oftenly even for FL/BC I have max wood and stone in my ops (81k) while building mantlets at the same time!

Im a noob, like lvl 20, but the problem is that i spawned in a very crowded place, with a bunch of high level guys, and the only low level people that i can attack are either too low level or they belong to a clan that i dont want to mess with. Fortunately, i can move my castle to near my alliance members, but they are in a very big open space with just a bunch of empty outposts robber barrons and the occasional lvl 70. Should i move near my alliance members, or stay where i am?

Do you mean with npc nomands and samoerai or robber castles. There is a big different between that 2 things for robber castles you can use heavy crosbowmen the best but by nomads and samoerai you can use the best your best ranged soldiers and then when the event is running you can make heavycrosbowmen because then you can attack more or you need to bij soldiers in the eventshop. (Sorry i am not so good in english)

Only participate in glory events, they don't give as much XP and a lot of rubies, I managed to get over 60k rubies in a few months and only raised 5 lvls
Nomads give more coins, as well as let you purchase Castillians and horsetails. Bad advice... Not to mention that 60k in a few months is not that much compared to how many rubies a detrmined player can loot in Sands and Fire fortresses.

I (used) to play E4K on mobile. I was one of the best players at my level (40-50), usually coming first in the glory contests and the monthly competitions, but avoiding nomads and samurai. All games of this nature are pay to win. I played Stormfall and all the other Plarium games for years as well as others. So what? When you win the game is over .... I wanna keep playing. Strategy and understanding how people think will get you further than any coin. Thank God for the coin players though. Were it not for them we wouldn't have free games.
In all honesty, goodgame just made this game to exploit inpatient people, there are builds that takes real days to complete with the only way to make it faster is paying real money, that's just asshole design

Breor'll tell you vet heavy crossbowmen for coin efficiency and recruiting time but I'm a proponent of imperial marksmen

I (used) to play E4K on mobile. I was one of the best players at my level (40-50), usually coming first in the glory contests and the monthly competitions, but avoiding nomads and samurai. However, I've simply gotten bored. It's just the same old mechanics over and over and over again. The game is beginning to get boring.
It's not like I can just make a new account either, because mine is relatively low-level anyway.

All games of this nature are pay to win. I played Stormfall and all the other Plarium games for years as well as others. So what? When you win the game is over .... I wanna keep playing. Strategy and understanding how people think will get you further than any coin. Thank God for the coin players though. Were it not for them we wouldn't have free games.

In all honesty, goodgame just made this game to exploit inpatient people, there are builds that takes real days to complete with the only way to make it faster is paying real money, that's just asshole design
