The fishing should really pick up here in the next couple weeks. The water temp is so cold it has most of the fish sitting in the sun not being super aggressive. I hope you and your son do really well. I’m heading to bike week tomorrow but I’ll be fishing the river on Friday so you’ll see how the fishing looks and what baits there starting to feed on. Can’t wait I will be there for 3 weeks soon to fish with my 8 year old son he is pumped up ready to fish
