ZUHAIR"s designs are a fine version of Elie Saab. Elie"s gowns are overdone whereas Zuhair"s designs have balance and are aesthetically better. I am talking about this year"s collection.
Joe Abi Hayla and now there is ziad nakad too.. actualy they are not fashion designers. they are dresses makers plus they are not copying each other.. all of the arab designers have the same points of views and they look at the women from one side only. women in arab minds are butterfly and flowers and always attending weddings and brides with huge dress and all this stupid things. they dont express about the reallity of the women life

I don't find it right either to accept that all Arab/Lebanese designers share the same vision/opinion about Arab women: cultures evolve regularly. Yes Ziad Nakad does copy Elie Saab so do lots of Lebanese/Arab designers or dressmakers. I can prove that Zuhair for example has stole more than 15 designs, not only from Elie Saab, but also Dior and G&B. Google for exemple : Zuhair Murad copies Dior (you'll get as results a Zuhair Murad dress worn by Miley Cyrus that looks exactly like Dior's).
Dresses were stunningly beautiful. The feathers in the hair, stupid. Some dresses were obviously 'Indian' inspired. We all got that message with the 'first' model. Don't try so hard to be politically correct, or make political statements of any kind.
