- Rakesh Jhunjhunwala met Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this week. A photograph of the meeting had gone viral on social media with some asking why the prime minister had met a share broker.
When asked about the same at the India Today Conclave 2021, Jjunjhunwala said, "I pay $1.5 million a year in brokerage, I am not a broker. Why the prime minister met me, you would have to ask him."

@@dharmeshyadav4563 FYI. Jhunjhunwala has been one of Modi's biggest supporter and not only that but been extremely proud of it and saying it in loud in the open. While the Budget is prepared for example top employers in the country and few market leaders on industries which are in priority of the current 5 year plan are invited for a discussion; it is very well understood that one is to not question why they went , what they discussed. This is not some kitty party discussion. 4 times in the last 2 months JhunJhunwala has given it back to India Today journalists for asking such stupid questions.
Lets say for example, you are the prime minister and you want to take decision or have better thought regarding steel Industry, then you call up on one or two high profile experts of steel industry for a high tea session and casually ask them certain question so as to gather the information you need. But you won't be telling them why you have called them, why you asked them those questions, what you would do with info they have provided.

I heard lots of interviews, he never disclosed or given any recommendations during interviews. When he starts his investment at the same time I have also started but difference is that I was very small employee without any financial background & investing very small amount whenever surplus funds available with me & he is CA as well as good family background. But that small investment given me credibility & keep me happy today. Same thing happened in his life, for his big investment got good valuation & recognition of big bull. After my investment I loss 75000/- but investment value of other scripts keep me happy & I forgot my losses, in the same He never intimated his losses since Good valuation has got for his investment. Don’t expect anything from him or any other advisor, whenever if surplus fund is available, investment in good scripts & forget. 1000% gain will get in future.
India Today must have some sincere and intellectual anchor while having such events.
