Ok, can I just say that I love these two together. You know, Gillian Anderson once said in an interview that David can create chemistry with anyone, that David just "exudes sexuality." I disagree whole-heartedly. Not that David Duchovny isn't sexy...it's just that I think Gillian Anderson can create an overpowering chemistry with anyone. If you notice, *she* has just as much chemistry with Doggett, Skinner, and all three of The Lone Gunmen. Personally, I think she made The X-Files what it is.
I am A Mulder and Scully shipper however I am also a Doggett and Scully shipper. I think they should of made Doggett and Scully fall in love, and Mulder try to win her back. I could always sense that Mulder was jealous of him, but I still wanted more about Doggett and Scully. Obviously Doggett was in love with Scully.
I would have preferred more Doggett and Scully moments. They should have at least let them share a kiss. Still salty to this day that we only got Doggett for 2 seasons and they tried to write in Doggett and Reyes as a romantic pair in season 9 instead of keeping on the ScullDogg romance 😕

How is it possible?
@@helenivanova5440 why should they not? It’s only my opinion though no need to get irate about it. It would have made more sense for them to keep on what was clearly Doggett falling for Scully in season 8 than what they did do. Could have probably got a few more seasons out of the show that way.

Despite her fighting it like hell throughout S8, she clearly had feelings for him, but felt that she was betraying Mulder's memory by doing so, which is why she constantly pushed Doggett away. Granted, she didn't love him as much as she did Mulder at the time...but the possibility that she could have, if given the time and the chance, still remains evident.
She doesn't have any romantic feelings for John. Mulder is the only man she loves and waits for. If one day Mulder was obviously dead, idk how long time would have passed until she could even have a thought about another man, let alone feel romantic feelings to smb.
mulder my ass! until i saw IWTB i was so sick of mulder. yes great tv show, WHAT a story line! but im a woman, i want someone just like doggett, a family man, someone to love! and who loves me back and more than his job. besides, i think i have read all the fanfics and i have watched all the vids M&S them, is just exciting and new to imagine scully and dogget getting involved!

100% agreed on that one, just recently been watching season 8, Mulder is pissed whenever he sees Doggett and for no blimen reason
