I had some problems getting my SG22 running (7" barrel). At first, it wouldn't even eject. I used a 3/4" ID steel collar to cover the gas port, then it would eject and reload, but no cock the hammer. A set of reduced power trigger springs from kaw valley precision took care of that, and now it runs like a top.
Unsure if this is your issue but included in the sg22 files is an insert for a standard charging handle with CMMG kits. This is recommended, as it prevents spent shells from ending up lodged in the charging handle.
Thanks for watching. I do have the insert in the charging handle. I wasn’t going to print it but decided to because it was quick and took very little material. I’m thinking the barrel with the gas hole is causing my issues. I do not have a gas block on it so I’m losing pressure when cycling. Thanks again for watching
@@us_angler1845 thanks for posting and showing everything you went thru. its gonna be helpful. got mine fully printed but i want to redo the brace. i think it needs to be done with 100% infill (with pla+). i did mine with only 60% infill. But after that its smooth sailing!
Thanks for watching. I can’t remember if this platform will accept the colt without some major changes. It’s definitely something worth looking into. Thanks for the comment.
Excellent production of this armament, it has to be styled, & profiled thanks a bunch for sharing,👍🏻! Hopefully, the actual, non-3d printing blueprint can be can use more than once in production?
Thanks for watching. It’s definitely a fun rig with a lot of style available for adding. All non 3D parts can definitely be used for other projects. Thanks again for watching
Hello thanks for watching. I would think so for the upper. All the specs are the same and the takedown pins should line up fine. The only thinks I can see being an issue would be the overall look of the fit. Some of the aesthetics may be off for a factory upper vs the upper designated for the lower. Thanks again for watching
Bolt and carrier is a CMMG conversion kit. Barrel is an AR barrel. Just make sure you check any local and state laws before ordering parts. Thanks for watching
Thanks for watching. I don’t think I have any other style 22lr AR mags. I’ll have to grab a different brand and give it a shot. Do you have any suggestions on a brand. Thanks again

Thanks for watching. Thanks for the info on the barrel. I’ll look into that for mine. It seems to be working ok for at the moment.
The sound of that reminds me of a grease gun for some reason. Looks like a cool project, nicely done.
Thanks for watching. It’s a fun little rig. Definitely a cool project. Thanks again for watching

on the back side of the mag put a rised drip of hot tub repair. it hardens super fast super stinky. but removes the play. you wont regret it.....
Thanks for the tip I’ll definitely try it. Thanks for watching much appreciated
@@us_angler1845 You could also use a soldering iron in the magwell to add a little bit and file as needed.
Sounds like a decent idea. I’ll have to give it a shot. Thanks for watching
nice
Thanks for watching. I enjoy it a lot. Fun little target toy
@@us_angler1845 im in the process of building one myself with a 7 inch barrel

It seems your recipricating charging handle is flexing and striking the brace adapter under recoil load.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate the input thanks again
good stuff

I wonder if the new colt insert would be the same size as the cmmg and if it would run better

Thanks for watching much appreciated
I'm in the middle of doing the same project but ran into problems. how to get in touch about consulting with you if it is possible
Hello thanks for watching. I’d rather not give out advice. Keep at it. They are fun little projects. Thanks again
Very nice! This video deserves more likes!
Would you happen to know if an actual upper (non-3d printed) can be used in place of the 3d printed upper?

What kind of barrel and bolt did you use? New to guns and gunsmithing but am very experienced 3d printing
