The first mention of the village dates back to the XVI century.
In the 1890s, the industrial development of peat at the Galitsky Moss deposit began at the Redkino station.
During the construction of the Ivankovsky reservoir in 1936
, part of the inhabitants of the villages flooded along the banks of the Shosha were resettled in Redkino. The population has increased to 4 thousand .
In the pre-war years, the Redkinsky plant turned into a peat chemical plant,
consisting of a coke plant and peat processing, exploiting the peat bog Galician Moss.
There was a factory school at the factory, reorganized in 1940 into a craft school.
The Redkinsky Plant was a city-forming enterprise from the 1920s to the 1990s. Since the 1950s, it has received the status of a pilot plant under the Ministry
of Petroleum Industry of the USSR and produced various chemical products from artificial liquid fuels to organosilicon monomers and polymers.
In 1939, Redkino received the status of an urban-type settlement. At this time, it belongs to the Zavidovsky district of the Kalinin region.
The Chemist Culture House in this building opened its doors in 1976. But the construction of the recreation center itself was stretched over time, the foundation was laid in 1967
and only 9 years later the opening took place.
The Nikolaev railway, the construction of which began in 1843, had a great influence on the development of the settlement.
In 1851, the first steam locomotive boomed in Redkin.
Redkino was a way station and did not even have a water tower for refueling locomotives with water. At that time there were only 20 peasant households in the village.
Five kilometers from the village of Redkino is the village of Izoplit. The history of the village begins in 1929.
It was planned to build a factory in the forest that could provide the country with insulation materials needed for construction projects.
In 1930, the preparation of the site for the factory building began. Uprooted the forest, made a clearing to the village of Redkino
Together with the factory, a power plant was built, which provided current for lighting our village, the villages of Ozerki and nearby villages.
The history of the village of Ozerki can also be counted from 1929. For a new Soviet country under construction, large quantities of fuel were needed

was carried out by the Redkin peat enterprise.
In 1932, the peat fields were taken over by the Kalininsky Peat Forest. Barracks for workers are being built on the site of the current settlement.
They housed a dormitory, a canteen, a medical center. We built a small store.
The Great Patriotic War did not bypass these places. In June 1941, over 700 workers of the enterprise went to the front.

In the Middle Ages it was a small town of Tver princes. This settlement had two names at once: Vertyazin and Goroden (in some sources - Goroden).

The main attraction of the village is the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin.
The oldest preserved building in the Tver region, the only extant architectural monument of the Grand Duchy of Tver.

В 1973 году мне рассказывал Владимир Ермолаевич Диев, друг моих родителей, что деревня Редькино по фамилии помещика Редькин. Диев сказал, что он ездил в Москву, там он добился переименования в Редкино. Звучит благозвучнее и дома редко стояли друг от друга, в отличие от Городни. В детстве я приходила в гости и играла с его дочкой Таней, она постарше меня. Имение Редькина находилось в Быково, пруд принадлежал ему. Когда в Завидово построили дачу Л.И.Брежневу, то Редкино из Московской области перевели в Калининскую (ныне Тверскую) область. Говорили, что это сделано для того, чтобы было выведено из зоны лесничества Московской области. С уважением Вера Викторовна.

Спасибо. Была в Редкино и в Городне. Редкино не впечатлило, в отличии от Городни. Красивая церковь, родник и вид на Волгу.
Получается что самое крупное и многолюдное это Редкино.

Озерки- это вообще позор администрации, довели поселок до руин , глава поселка видимо не просто безразличен к жителям, он их люто ненавидит
Недавно проезжался из изоплита в очерки на великах - ужас
Теперь почтальонов нету! Озерки пос. городского типа а не сельского! Администрация изоплитовская и она уничтожает Озерки.
