Just made it and both my partner and I enjoyed it a lot though cutting through the frozen meat is not easy. Also tried the smoked paprika in the sauce which I think gave it a kick. Not being very good at making bread I used shop-bought Nan which we thought worked well. Anyway thanks for the recipe

I would have liked to see you serve this, in other words, how you serve each plate a portion of the food. It's looks good to me, it is a lot of work. If I could go to a restaurant and order it, I would, so I could try it before trying to make it myself. So another wonderful recipe as always! I just have a couple of questions : 1. I would have liked to make 2 variants of meat.. Beef and lamb. Either together or separate. 2. I would add some lamb fat to the meat. I feel that it gives a more authentic flavor after frying. In my experience, kebab is better when the meat is a mixture of minced lamb and minced beef. It kind of balances the flavor and lightens the strong mutton flavor. You don't need to add fat to the mixture as long as the ratio is 20-30% fat and 70-80% lean meat. May Allah bless you and your family and Ramadan Mubarak

original restaurant İskender recipe %70-75 beef and %25-30lamb. Onion and black pepper only. No other spices You need to mix the meat thoroughly. Let it rest in refrigerator at 0degree one day, second day if the meat is to hard add little mineral water to soften. Mix it again. Wait another day than ready.

Ohhh my goodness Turkish food looks so so so tasty but the moment you take just one bite …..doesn’t feel like taking any other bite lol …..
Resting meat about an hour at least to soften it a bit for easy slicing will be important 🤔🤔It looks very good so far 👍👍😋😋🤗🤗🤗😍
