Doing a 1/2 reel turn fast as you can causes spoon a popping darting action 😊
I bought one of those bass pro elite reels.. the specs on the box looked great and the reel was smooth and looked good but I had none stop wind knots so I took the line off and had bass pro put line on it and still nothing but wind knots !! Never got it to work right ? I'm not sure if I just got a lemon or what? How did it work for you??

Regarding the stainless thing: Stainless steel can reduce/remove odor from your hands. If you have a stainless sink or coffee mug. Try rubbing your hands on it after rubbing garlic or onion on your hands.

You can use Windex I think to get rid of fish smell,if you like the dough bait try stinkbait on a dough hook,I don't know about Delaware but I'm in Texas so the baits are kinda different.

You should try out the pro qualifiers 2.0 fishing rod light fast action it kills trout and panfish and the carbonlite 2.0 is good for jerk baits and topwater very sensitive and fun rods.

Yes, fish smell. If you use procure trophy bass at night on a soft plastic, you will crush fish. If you use a noisy topwater with procure trophy bass, they'll feel vibration and smell it. The fish will crush a noisy scented topwater for sure. I caught 2 fish in 5 minutes. I used a rat wakebait with procure trophy bass. Caught the bass threw back into the spot. I caught the last one, and I caught another one. 😊

Try a fly rod with a spinning reel. I use 9' 5wt and everything is huge on it hahaha. I've caught minnows to 6' sturgeon on it!
