- The Eastern Europe version of Itchy and Scratchy, taken from "Krusty Gets Kancelled", episode 22th of the 4th series.
This is one of Matt Groening's (Simpsons creator) favorite moments from The Simpsons!
"What country is this from?"
"It no longer exist"

You beat me to it!
She'll go 300 hectares on a single tank of kerosene

I come from Eastern Europe. You not say Eastern Europe weak!
"What the hell was that?"
A BEAUTIFUL line delivery. It feels so raw and earnest.
😂
I feel that the VA just saw this scene for the first time and that was his actual response and kept it in recording
Not to mention he's also smoking a cigarette in front of a live audience of children.
@@VanillaLimeCoke A smoke that he had barely just lit.
Not as beautiful as "Endut Hoch Hech". That was pure poetry.
the fact that this was one of Matt Groening's favorite scenes to make says everything
I thought his favorite scene was homer shooting zombie Ned Flanders

My headcanon is that Worker and Parasite was made in the same no-longer-existent country as the car Crazy Vaclav tried to sell Homer.
PUT IT IN H!
That makes so much sense! And I know that episode since I have the Christmas specials on dvd.
Never again did we see a car that'll go 300 hectares on a single tank of kerosene, after the fall of the country that no longer exists.

Perfect theme song 😂.
shouldn't it be work and shirk?
XD!
Hahah nice.
So if I've got this straight...
Scene 1 - Parasite, the mouse boss is chastising Worker the cat for not working hard enough.
Scene 2 - Parasite tells Worker he can't have a break for a can of Preshtinskusov because his work is not satisfactory.
Scene 3 - Worker is plunged into a world of guilt and turmoil.
More likely the last scene is some kind of conflict loading up to climax between them
In other words, the last part was the inevitable revolution of Worker Cat rising against Boss Mouse
I thought the mouse was Worker! But you may be right.
@@fuzzballzz36 the mouse is a Parasite, because the only thing it does in it's lifecycle is consuming food. Also it steals food from peasants.
The cat is a Worker, because cats are well known of producing purr. Also, as true Workers, they crush Parasites (mouses).
@@GetToHellOut as a lifelong cat person,I agree completely!
Goes to show how serious Krusty is about his work - he doesn't even bother to check out the content of this Itchy & Scratchy replacement before going live, and he even smokes a cigarette in the studio while delivering this reaction. What a classic scene.
I remember in one episode, Krusty is watching an Itchy and Scratchy gore death and he’s like “What the hell? I’ve never watched this before when I’m not drunk!” He doesn’t even view beforehand the regular Itchy and Scratchy.
But he drives a Canyonaro!
That cigarette is priceless Krusty!

They did an amazing job of replicating that avant garde aesthetic of surrealism and weird proportions that Russian animation is known for. Also, this came out in 1993, so the Soviet Union had technically only been gone for a couple years at this point.

@@Celestina0Google Translate didn't exist in 1993
One year.
It's odd in hindsight. The Berlin Wall came down in November 1989, but the Soviet Union continued to exist until, well, 1993 actually. The first country left in 1991, followed soon after by the second, a process that was not completed until 1992. Then others followed and the USSR dissolved. Until 1994 a lot of people in the West still hadn't noticed that anything was different.
_Crimson Tide,_ a film proposing unilateralism in ending the Cold War, came out in 1995.
Did Marc Chagall's influence as an artist effect that style of animation?

@@husseinalmashhadanybased on what
So basically
The parasite(boss) is chastising the worker for not working hard enough. Worker then days thay parasite does not understand the hardship of the regular worker by showing parasite what regular people go through. Parasite says they can avoid it by working hard enough which fundamentally clashes with worker's belief of the current system bounding the regular men to their current undesirable fates. Therefore, conflict between them is inevitable and irrevocable and is symbolised by the jumbled background in the end.
One of the best and funniest Simpsons moments that has cracked me up ever since it was first on TV. Recently learned that the animators based this on 'Surogat' and other cartoons from Zagreb Film. Weird and wonderful stuff.
