little tip , when you are wheeling and are on steep inclines or side angles use the gas , petrol carb are ok but can flood or run rough in big inclines cos they either starve for fuel or flood the fuel bowl, that wont happen on gas, have fun towing to bud , be lucky to get 350 / 400 klm to both tanks maybe should be up aroubd 25 to 30 ltr per 100 klm me thinks , but gotta love a gq when they are set up with a few mods , have fun and enjoy them
I’ve got a dual fuel 105 landcruiser. I always switch it to petrol once I’m done driving for the day. That way it starts straight up on petrol and then after a few minutes of driving I switch it to gas when it’s at higher revs between 80-100km
you should flick it back on fuel right before you turn it off, just let it prime first and wait for ur car to be warm, doesn’t need to be hot just warm when you go to put it back on gas, will make like a lot easier
just a heads up cause i know you like everything being legal, spotlights and lightbars legally have to be wired up to your high beams and a switch in victoria, and it makes it easier to turn them off when there's a car coming towards you, not to sure if its possible with the switch board though
Hey mate i had one of these, gas is great for driving but first start when cold keep petty and like 5ish mins of driving switch to gas and then switch back to petty 5 mins before you pull up and it should start good
Why does everyone put spotties where it blocks airflow to the rad, its the last area i mount anything, gotta keep that donk as cool as possible especially towing
More engine noise less music other then that good content and love the gq had a few and loved them last one was carb duel fuel shitter on the cold start but went anywhere 💪
If you want your patrol to look extra TUFF, paint the grille black and buy some led headlights

before you put the bar on shouldve painted it black to match bullbar
Can’t weld to painted surfaces
@@shxdow-of-death2071 you can if you use steel it. A can is about $70 tho 😬 but you can weld straight on it 👍🏻
@@shxdow-of-death2071 so dont paint that spot then ehh
Bruh no one’s making videos like this any more except you gives me something to watch keep it up bruv

You can get replacement heqd lights that are led also

now you definitely need to add some halo led headlights and a 50" light bar will look mint but before that I’d raptor paint the car 😚👌
