@@Triple_X_X 2019 : Liverpool win against Tottenham in the final. 2021 : Chelsea win against Man City in the final. 2022 : Liverpool make it to the final. 2023 : Man City win the UCL. So in the previous 5 years, every final has had at least 1 English team (except in 2020), 2 finals were 100% English, 3 different English teams won the UCL, and 4 different English teams made it to the final. Overall English teams were by far the best in recent years.

Na If you look at Sancho's season at Dortmund it's really not that good. 4 scorers against low level teams. He has problems motivating himself and at ManU behaved horrible ( also at the end at BVb) . Stöger and fave. He started behaving like a diva for months and his output went down. He can be world-class. At ManU he continued that approach. Lazy in traininggl, often playing through the night video games and arriving too late or not at all. You can't perform like that. Look at the games. He made the ManU game often slower .
I hope he understands that now and has matured because yes he had a giant attitude problem. The season at BVB wasn't special at all but the games against Paris he was very good and important. I don't hate him at all. I do hate PSG and Man City 😂

Once again Carragher is acting like Dortmund are some outsider club on a miracle run, they’ve literally won the Champions league before, were in a final a decade ago and are routinely in the latter stages of the competition. They are not Champions league outsiders in any way and no small club is looking at this thinking “if Dortmund can so can we” because Dortmund aren’t a small club! What should be talked about however is THIS iteration of Dortmund getting to the final, that’s what’s impressive, not the club as a whole
I have come to the conclusion that Jamie Carragher is only semi-literate. A quick wikipedia research probably gives him a headache
of course dortmund is an outsider club in the cl. Look at the cl results in the last decade, they didnt reach the semi finals once. Being an outsider though doesnt mean that you cannot reach a final through a good performance, but being place 5 in bundesliga and losing almost all major games against the top 4 is not a team that you would expect in a cl final. Yes they have won the cl once, but way over 20 years ago. Apart from that Dortmund deserve this, maybe they did not have as many chances as psg, but they put everything in it, just like they did against atletico and deserve to be in the final.

There is one of the big stories of football in the making. Reus joined Dortmund in the season 12/13, reached the UCL finale in wembley and lost it, which was the beginning of a great but very unlucky football career. Reus would've won the world cup, if it wasn't for injuries which ruined many big games and opportunities to win big for him.
Now he has his last game for Dortmund in wembley again. I prey to the football gods that Reus actually manages to get a happy end to an unbelievably tragic and beautiful career.
I have only one players shirt at home and it's Marcos. It would be a miracle come through if Marco would win the big title in his last match ever for Dortmund.

I'm so proud of this team, words can't express it. They mentioned it, selling Jude (arguably the best player in the world) last year AND losing the title on the last day is almost impossible to recover from. Yeah we haven't done well in the league, but the league also stepped up it's game. Leverkusen are world beaters, Bayern is still there, Leipzig are still there, and Stuttgart came out of nowhere.... The league is better, but despite those frustrations, to be counted out at every turn this run in the UCL and to come out on top every time... I'm super proud. Hopefully we got one more in us

Dortmund reached three finals. They won it in 97, 13 in Wembley and now 24 in wembley again.
So they reached more finals than city and psg, and they won it as many times as city(without having to pimp out their club for oil despots).
Jamie's calling himself a newly reinstated Dortmund fan, and yet, absolutely underestimates them by saying other European clubs might be thinking they have a chance too if Dortmund can do it. They aren't just "any other" club, simply because they are a top team in Bundesliga and not in your precious EPL!
I remember, after last year's bottlejob people (myself included) thought it's over. Everyone else is just so ahead of BVB financially, nothing good will ever happen, no hope of the title or the Champions League final ever again. Yet here we are. Dortmund defied the odds and the rules of modern football. Their entire starting eleven cost just a bit more than what PSG paid for Mbappe (and he got pocketed by a €5M right back). In the previous round they knocked out the best paid manager in Europe, in the groups it was 3:0 on aggregate against a Saudi owned Newcastle. Also, it would have been another story if they were great in the Bundesliga this season, but it was mostly a disaster. And yet, they prevailed. It's incredible. Yes, Premier League bias is strong in them, but I think he just meant that you don't need to spend hundreds of millions to achieve something special. Besides, you have to forgive Jamie, he's still new to the real football, he'll learn 😂

BVB ARMY MOVES ON TO WEMBLEY! What a journey it has been since the last time Dortmund were at Wembley. So many changes, hundreds of players joining and arriving. It’s been hard at times watching Dortmund play, especially at the end of last season where it looked like they were finally going to win the Bundesliga again and choked it on the final day. I always ride with Dortmund vs anybody but seeing these guys actually do it and against some great teams, it’s just ridiculous.

In a group with PSG, Newcastle and Milan, BVB ended up first where the experts said: "They'd be lucky if they end 3rd". And now they are in the grand final. Surely, it was not incredible combination football. If you watch their squad, you wouldn't expect that anyway.
But they proofed that passion can get you there, too. When was that the case last time? I can't remember. Normally it was just pure masterclass and endless money flow that brought teams to the grand finals. So thank you BVB to show that every team qualified for the Champions League could go all the way.

Where were you last year when two out of the three European competitions were won by English Clubs. What about the fact that in the last 6 UCL finals English clubs have featured in 5. Also in 2019 for the first time ever both UCL and UEL finals featured only English Clubs. Three different English clubs have won the UCL in the past 5 years.
