I believe the "smooth swing" is most important for distance and precision. now that you mentioned it, i realize most of my best drives were "unintentional ". they were made by casual swing while joking with buddies on the T. swings were carefree, effortless and smooth. and they went unsually far and straight comparing to my otherwise belaboured and tension filled "performance".
this is second eureka moment i got from your channel.

You have a wonderful golf swing tempo. That's my area of focus with my driver this season. I tended to be tense and over swing particularly when I'm under pressure to drive the ball into the fairway. I will refer to this video before practice on the range and of course on the course. Thanks for sharing.

I often wonder about the legs during setup. Should we setup more upright, with very little knee bend? Or is there a fair amount of knee bend? … and if so how much?
I know the Right leg straightens on the Backswing. But it looks like your knee bend is about the same at setup and at the top of your backswing.
Yes, absolutely. You have to bend a little at set up and your right leg lengthen but it does’t lock :)
