Made my very first half shoe recently...
The foam made it arduous to get the edges rested through to the back...
Had to pinch out the foam around the edges tactically to successfully last.
But you seem to have done yours just fine.
I know foam gives it a great feel,but i almost resolved to not use foam again...🫠😅
