Description
Bodega have offered their inimitable take on a wide variety of New Balance styles over the years. Fittingly, for a collaborative partner of such creative versatility, Bodega’s version of the 9060 takes inspiration from the aesthetics and spirit of the Renaissance, as the silhouette’s exaggerated Y2K-influenced proportions are rendered in a rich, varied material palette. The standard mesh upper construction becomes an exercise in texture, as traditional mesh at the toebox is complimented with spacer mesh around the ankle collar. The subtle addition of a perforated leather panel at midfoot adds an additional layer of variation, along with a flash of contrasting color. The multi-textured technique carries over to the overlays, which feature both suede and hairy suede. The renaissance influence is emphasized with a colorway featuring heavenly blue tones, accented by neutral whites, greys, and tans, recalling classical art and architecture.

New Balance probably needs its own Top 10 list these days. I struck out on the Salehe (size 12 probs) but got these and totally agree these are my new fav Bodega's the texture layers and colors are 🤌🏾

I prefer the original minimalistic design and colorways of the 990s... Now i see these new releases IMO they are either over designed or over co!ored
Yeah, the midsole of the 9060 doesn’t do it for me.
These jawns are mad comfortable and stylish I haven't been lucky enough to cop any colabs, but some GR's colorways definitely hit. Definitely adding a few more to the collection.
I wish I grabbed 2 pairs instead of just the 1, this is the shoe of the year (my opinion) Bodega blew these out of the atmosphere!!!

Tried to cop these on release and I mean I watched the clock. No such luck. the second I picked my size it disappeared after I selected it. Never been more frustrated with the market than when you actually want wear them and not just cop for the resale. That has never been my thing. I wish these companies did more against bots so the average consumer had a chance to buy them.
Dope review! I also picked these up and people slept hard. They sat on Bodega for a half-day when they released. The materials are so nice on these.

I know the chances of getting them for retail are incredibly slim, but a 101 on how to get them for retail would be incredibly helpful.

I really liked these, but the vibe is too similar to the Salehe 2002Rs that I already have. I hope to have 9060s at some point, but it has to fill a gap in my collection.

There are a couple GRs that are pretty good, but I don't generally love this model. This collab is fantastic though...easily one of the best collabs this year. These are definitely in my top 10, probably even top 5.
Re: sizing, I can do TTS on these, but I actually prefer half size down as the toebox is pretty roomy.

Only NB I got are 4 pairs of kawhis can't get into them at all....always remind me of dad shoes I'm 56 and won't buy them....is it just me....I mainly wear LeBrons when I can get them in UK...
I have the grey pair, and my only complaints are: the back of the shoe could be taller. Feel like I could easily slip out, and not that comfortable as the shoe doesn’t hug my feet. The other thing is that the model is quite narrow for being NB.

I just started adding new balance to my collection and I grabbed these along with Salehe’s “sand be the time”. Would you recommend spraying these with shoe protector? I don’t know what those products do to hairy suede…

New Balance shoes are nice but I just don’t feel the need to have many pairs.
I am a US9.5 myself, and I find that I have to go down to a US9 for 9060 and 2002r Refined future packs.
Do you have narrow or wide foot?
@@leonidasrozon2201 standard width. For reference I go down 0.5 size for 990V3-6, 992 and 993. I go TTS for 990 V1 & V2, 991, 574, 327, and 1906.
@@star42 I got up .5 on 574 so I guess I’ll stick to up from my tts 8.5 since I have wide foot. I’ve own the grey day 9060 8.5 and very forgiven but I think a 9 would do perfect
