Not only that, but it’s amazing that people will still go out to some unfamiliar location or invite strangers to their address or agree to meet up late at night. I’ve heard so many Craigslist stories like this and I still can’t believe people still use the site and also aren’t very safe or smart about it.
The guy from story two sounds like a total wimp. The seller doesn't pull out any weapon, only pushes him against his car then hits him so he submits? Wtf... stand up for yourself and push/punch back.
2nd story of the guy not wanting to buy the bike because he "assumed" it was stolen deserves what he got. He got his ass whooped and took his money when all he had to do was give him the money for the bike smh what an idiot 😆
This is EXACTLY my logic. There are millions of people who buy things and never get around to use it enough or at all. Dude had a chance at a practically new bike and made he situation waaay worse then it had to be and then tried to just leave after wasting the man's time... what a dweeb
@AJCA687, assumed it was stolen? The owner started getting defensive and attack the guy when asked how long had he had the bike for. If a bike doesnt have a single scratch or speck of dirt on it after *five years* , of course it's going to look suspicious.
Not necessarily. I’d at least start yelling, running to the gas station to call the cops…. But people just stuck around to watch?! He’s right, that sucked.
You should never give out your address on FB Market or CL. That's nuts. I never do. Always meet at a public well lit place, with lots of people around during the day. And afterwards always check to make sure you aren't being followed home. Common sense.
Easy for me to say, but I don't understand why the guy who wanted to buy the bicycle didn't just run into the gas station, start yelling, or something. The filthy seller didn't have a weapon, and I think the odds of him getting out of the situation were good.
so he tells you before you get to his house he is moving in the morning so he has to sell it tonight! you get there and the garage is full af crap not ready to be moved, i would have turned around then!
In story 2, the very fact that he was asked to meet up in the middle of nowhere got a bicycle, and on top of that, making him wait for so long itself is a major red flag. I don’t know why people don’t trust their gut feeling and act a little sensible.
🤔 no serious charges in the first story ? Isn't assault with a deadly weapon with intent to do great bodily harm a serious charge ?? Not to mention attempted robbery ??
Story 1: those guys were stupid! First of all it’s wrong to try to do something like that anyway, secondly if they know that they weren’t sure about it then don’t try it! It’s too risky
And how did that convo work between them.... “So, Bob, whattaya want to do tonight?” “I dunno, how about we mug someone?” “Cool. I’ll pretend to list my sweet coffee table...I mean, how hard could it be??”
Story 2 I don't and wouldn't expect anybody to help me if i was in some kind of trouble like that I'd be surprised if someone did help me gotta help yourself protect yourself you don't get involved with anybody else
As a spectator, number one rule of self preservation: mind your own damn business. As the victim, brother shouldn't have expected that if he looked around at enough people, he'd be saved. Make a scene or something to make it seem like you're in trouble if you really want help. If I was at that gas station, I'm not gonna develop the power to mind read and know you need him. Let me know that and I can maybe step in depending on the situation because if you messed up, I'm not putting myself in harm's way to bail you out.
Story 2.. that's why you NEED a CCP. Every SINGLE time I buy or sell ANYTHING I have a S&W .40 under my hoodie or on my back. Depending on the weather. I like my shoulder holster in the winter months and my back holster in summer
Story 1 - Ah, Craigslist's reputation..hello. The story sounds sus to me. What kind of table were you seeking? After a long dark drive into a not so nice neighborhood, to hook up with a stranger and his table it never once occurred to you that this wasn't a good idea? You could have bought at least two tables from your local Target or Walgreens for what you spent in time and gas alone. You saw a photo of the table, yet you brought no one with you to help carry the item to your vehicle. It couldn't be carried without resting. How were you going to remove it from your car to your residence? Craigslist was once used as an appointment book by a serial killer. You need to hone your decision making and survival skills before making anymore impromptu Craigslist trips unescorted.
1, carry a gun everywhere you legally can. 2, don't expect anyone to help you. They almost never do. 3, you're the buyer, set your own terms. Time place and if you can bring someone with you
@Strellok100 I was just going to leave a comment about this. I don't want to come across as arrogant. But I have a ton of friends who are former criminals along with a bunch of friends who are lawyers , mostly defense lawyers but I have a few that are prosecutors and even a couple of judges. And I watched crimes go through the entire legal process from arrest to sentencing. I would almost consider myself an expert on how the law works. (I hope that didn't sound too arrogant). Anyway I know enough to say that it doesn't matter whether they are Young with no records..... There's is no way in hell that they were going to get off easy and unscathed for a crime like that. No way at all..
OMG, I almost kinda feel bad for the guy in story 2. I have a feeling that he was the kid in school that was robbed of his lunch money daily by the school bully. Someone failed him miserably as far as teaching him to fight and defend himself. The worst part is that he expected other ppl to get involved and come to his rescue, as if he was some damsel in distress! He'll be nothing but a victim his entire life, hoping that someone will come to his rescue, and someone completely dropped the ball on his man training. Pity
Maybe not to rescue him, but just to make noise, or like he said, to stay as a witness -- He got nothing. He also thought the mere *presence of others would deter the creep. I agree he should be in better shape, better prepared? But if the creep was a lot bigger and tougher, well, if the buyer is small, thin and/or not prepared for combat, he figured it's better to lose money than be permanently physically damaged... He didn't expect to be robbed. :(
The guy in story number 2 said he lost faith in humanity, he should have lost faith in being a man lol. Wow to not even try fighting back after getting hit . I bet that thief was almost laughing driving home
Everyone in comments accusing the guy in story 2 when he was the better man for putting himself in danger not wanting to get someone else's bike makes me think he was right about losing faith in humanity.
I wish people would be smarter about situations. If you get a gut feeling about someone just freaking leave, don't answer the door, call the police, etc.....
I bought a house through eBay once. It was in a small town in North Dakota. When I got there before I even had a chance to look inside the house the entire town came out and was literally unloading my truck because I didn't have a padlock on it. Once they were done they scattered away like cockroaches when you turn on a light. I went inside the house and it was literally condemned. There wasn't a level floor in the house and the basement walls were caving in and all the pipes were broken. Outside there were dead trees that were falling over and broken and a garage that was collapsing and they told me or the city manager told me that it was my responsibility to clean all this up because I now own the property. So I contacted the state attorney general and I got out of that sale because there was no proper disclosure. And I got the hell out of that town those people were crazy. They would dig through my trash and call the cops on me because I would walk down to the corner store to buy my son some food while he was napping and he was 10 years old and he was fully capable of being home alone in a locked house where he was safe and sound sleeping or playing his video games while I went to get him food for dinner. He was a special needs child so he was afraid of the people in town and he would not leave the house. These people would literally drive up past my house and turn around and then drive past all the while staring at my house. It was the creepiest place I ever lived and I will never buy anything through eBay Craigslist marketplace or whatever ever again.
Guy in the 2nd story its up to you as a man to be prepared for things like that. Its nobody else job save you so stop whining. You ego and pride got shot down. You'll be alright.
Dude all these bad encounters u had with Craigslist and you still continue to chose to use that site? Your dealing with ppl you don’t know! This def don’t fall under creepy stories
Story 2 makes no sense. He rode the bike around and because it was too clean he accused the seller of stealing it. Then he got pushed so he gave the guy $100 for the bike, so he wasn’t “out $100” because he had the bike, right? And it’s common for people not to jump in to a conflict when there are a lot of people around. It’s called the “bystander effect”. It sucks that nobody helped though.
I would never sell or buy anything on line no days you don’t know if your going to meet up with Jack the Ripper it’s just too dangerous. I remember a case that a older couple was wanting to buy a older Mustang car off Craigslist and they went to meet the person and was mustered so sad you can’t trust these people I don’t want nothing that bad.
Gets slapped around by an old man with no weapon and his only recourse is to get out of the wallet and give him all his money.... Then complains that nobody helps him. Get used to it pal...

Not only that, but it’s amazing that people will still go out to some unfamiliar location or invite strangers to their address or agree to meet up late at night. I’ve heard so many Craigslist stories like this and I still can’t believe people still use the site and also aren’t very safe or smart about it.
@@MsCartoon23 yah i agree like is common sense not a thing anymore?
Craigslist killer was the worst. So many bad things on that site.
always excited to receive the notification of when you post.
Never have a stranger come to your place, or you go to his/hers. Very dangerous.
I've heard way too many horror stories about Craigslist.
The guy from story two sounds like a total wimp. The seller doesn't pull out any weapon, only pushes him against his car then hits him so he submits? Wtf... stand up for yourself and push/punch back.
So many red flags in the 1st story! Anybody that was wise would have taken off when the guy in the garage disappeared and you never saw him again.
Story 1: Get his address, leave him hanging, then go back in the morning when he throws it away. 😂
Just got done with some older videos so this came just in time!
What could go wrong giving a stranger your home address.
Love these!
You’re having reservations about buying a bike on Craigslist because it might be stolen? You’re buying on Craigslist! Give me a break.
Your voice is so soothing even if it is a horror story you are telling lol.
The guy in the 2nd story 1000% wouldn't help anyone either the way he did nothing for himself
Not necessarily. I’d at least start yelling, running to the gas station to call the cops…. But people just stuck around to watch?! He’s right, that sucked.
Keep up the good work man
You should never give out your address on FB Market or CL.
Ive never done Craigslist for selling, buying things, or meeting anyone. All you hear is horror stories
You never want to either
I ❤ your videos
Story 1: those guys were stupid! First of all it’s wrong to try to do something like that anyway, secondly if they know that they weren’t sure about it then don’t try it! It’s too risky
And how did that convo work between them....
“So, Bob, whattaya want to do tonight?”
“I dunno, how about we mug someone?”
“Cool.
@@brokeboiiii If that was a woman being roughed up, I'm sure that people would have helped her. But a guy? Nah - you're on your own.
Thank you
I’m so glad your safe.
Craigslist stories are my favorite ❤
Thanks
Dang...I'm staying away from Craigslist.😬 Great stories!👍
Story 2.. that's why you NEED a CCP. Every SINGLE time I buy or sell ANYTHING I have a S&W .40 under my hoodie or on my back. Depending on the weather. I like my shoulder holster in the winter months and my back holster in summer
And that, my friends, is why you NEVER sell things from your home address. Save yourself some grief and go to Walmart
PSA: carry a firearm when you do a craigslist meetup lol
Watching this during a thunderstorm😊😊😊
Time place and if you can bring someone with you
Story 1
If they got let go so easily u can be sure they definitely WILL try that again
Let me take my rispidone real quick, and binge on this 🥰
Love these Craigslist ones!
Pity
Lol😂😂
Maybe not to rescue him, but just to make noise, or like he said, to stay as a witness -- He got nothing. He also thought the mere *presence of others would deter the creep. I agree he should be in better shape, better prepared? But if the creep was a lot bigger and tougher, well, if the buyer is small, thin and/or not prepared for combat, he figured it's better to lose money than be permanently physically damaged... He didn't expect to be robbed. :(
Yeah!!
The guy in story number 2 said he lost faith in humanity, he should have lost faith in being a man lol. Wow to not even try fighting back after getting hit . I bet that thief was almost laughing driving home
Second story wasn’t no Craigslist killer.. dude was just a goofy .. talkin bout nobody cared and lost faith in humanity 😂😂
7:18 when the fire nation attacked
story 2: y u arguing trying to say its not his bike😂 jst give him the money
Yeah that guy is an idiot
exactly lmao.
He said why, duh
Some people have ethics. You clearly don’t.
Ngl I'm glad you put "allegedly" in the title lmao
Alright. I am currently doing the washing up and starting this now!
Everyone in comments accusing the guy in story 2 when he was the better man for putting himself in danger not wanting to get someone else's bike makes me think he was right about losing faith in humanity.
Can ya give me a shoutout I’ll be honest I like mr nightmare more but your stories are more chilling
Dude the guy in story 2 just rolled over
Late at night and Craigs List! Nope! No! Uh huh!
I'm 56 I listen to these before bed I must be coo coo lol. People out there can be so dangerous. Be cautious folks .
Yess this makes my night better I had a shit day❤❤❤
I love you and tee cup ❤❤
Again, and as always, a gun changes every situation. Keep that CCW gentleman
I wish people would be smarter about situations. If you get a gut feeling about someone just freaking leave, don't answer the door, call the police, etc.....
Hello
Always remember, nobody is coming to save you.
“after this though, i dont think they will be trying this again.”
That used coffee table was not worth it.
"Cheap, not too old, and in pretty good condition." 😂 Sounds like the mid 30s dating market 🤣
Guy in the 2nd story its up to you as a man to be prepared for things like that. Its nobody else job save you so stop whining. You ego and pride got shot down. You'll be alright.
The 2nd amendment is the cure to all of these.
Story 2, did he at least get to keep the bike?
Dude all these bad encounters u had with Craigslist and you still continue to chose to use that site? Your dealing with ppl you don’t know! This def don’t fall under creepy stories
I cant believe some of these people holy hell. What ever happened to being street smart??
Story 2 makes no sense. He rode the bike around and because it was too clean he accused the seller of stealing it. Then he got pushed so he gave the guy $100 for the bike, so he wasn’t “out $100” because he had the bike, right? And it’s common for people not to jump in to a conflict when there are a lot of people around. It’s called the “bystander effect”. It sucks that nobody helped though.
Life Lesson: ⚠️ *NEVER use mad Craigslist for nothing*
*I hope Dhar Mann be like one day:* "Should I make a video about that lol?”
That’s why you meet up in a public place like a gasoline station
guy in story 2 is wayyy too curious. Just take the bike bro lol
exactly what i was thinking.
Get used to it pal...
or could have taken the bike in the 1st place.
@@JustAnotherNamelessGuy shit people throw away perfectly good bikes all the time nobody can sell them unless they are something special.
