So, for those shopping at Sally Beauty, ION is wheat protein based, so be careful if you have a wheat allergy. If you don't, I suggest using ION brand developer over the Sally Care developer, especially if you do your own hair a lot, or have any bleach or dye in there. Once you finish up, I also suggest to use the ION prepare deep conditioning treatment. It's the one in the shiny red-pink pack.
Thank you same with Redken Shades eq. It also have wheat protein. I don’t know why they do it there are many other plant amino acids to choose from.
Sally beauty just released a new line called bondbar is a dupe for olaplex. They have step 3,4,5,6. And would love to see you review them!!! Love your videos!!
Btw!! I've tried this myself before with the Chi clear 00. You can get it at Sally's. It removed so much of my hair color it was amazing!! You do have to be careful where you apply it because it will lift root if you use a 20.
I absolutely love the green on you and kinda hope you keep it but darken it for Christmas and replace the purple with a deep red money piece 🔥
This is def a unique way of removing color that I never would’ve thought to do! Lol I didn’t even know clear color existed tbh
Thank you for actually posting a full on demo of this! I have seen it mentioned before, but when I went looking for real information (this was several years ago, maybe 2017, there is probably more stuff now) and all of the videos were vague about what they used and the actual process, like it was some trade secret. So I ended just winging it.
Totally would love to see a video of you removing that purple and lime green! ♡
the purple highlighter on your cheekbone? STUNNING!
this was my suggestion! yay, thank you so much for filming this! the demi definitely does work but it does it best with not clear but a contrasting color. i use diluted rose gold toner to remove that faded blue\green mint all the time!
Another product we suggest is a Color-Off, I suggest the Punky Color-Off to remove bright colors. It's a lot nicer than bleach.
I love your videos Aislinn ❤️ can't wait for the rainbow hair i miss it on you .
U look absolutely stunning. I love your hair!
Yesssssss I've been requesting this one for a while on Instagram and I'm so excited to watch this video!!! It's so cool how much you listen to your fans 🥰🥰🥰🥰
your makeup looks extra beautiful today :)
Vid for next time!!! Wondering, is it the permanent dye that is removing the color or is it the developer??? You should try using just 20 vol and try it again!! See if it removes the same way
I have tried just developer before and personally did not see great results, I needed a high lift color to make it work
@@caitlinmchugh839 OK thanks for that info! ☺️
It’s the developer! The higher the level of developer, the more it will lift the color out!
Your makeup is GORGEOUS today, happy halloween! 🎃
can you do a video on the best semi permanent black hair dyes?
I have always wondered what the clear color was for thank you for sharing
Your makeup always on point you should do a tutorial 💜😍 have a happy Halloween 🎃🖤👻🍂 be safe if anyone trick or treating
Your hair color is my favorite by far. Looks like it’s lasting a long time. Happy 🎃.
You have helped me a lot for my hair
i need to know what highlighter u re using in this video omg ITS STUNNING 🥹😍💖
Science question. How much of this would happen with just the developer itself? Like does the clear add anything
Haha, my thoughts exactly: we didn't see a 'control' treatment of just the developers to truly compare the results to B-)
@Aimée van Dijk I have rediculously dark hair so I'm in no position to test it but I can't imagine the clear is actually doing anything and actually might be making it less effective
I used permanent clear once on some stubborn green that didn't want to come out. And for me it actually happened like you described, it came out pretty much instantly. I had used schwarzkopf igora royal d-0 with 20 vol.
Do you get your schwarzkopf anywhere that doesnt require a license? I want to get the blondeme tub but i can only find it on cosmoprof
I was really hoping it would remove the orange. I am not having any luck finding a good orange remover :(
Color oops has worked great for me at removing orange and red
I love both the purple n chartreuse
You should try this on one of those brown semi-permanent colors that left the hair bright yellow after bleaching
We just started carrying one n only semi permanent color remover! Would love to see a review!
you should try the permanent clear on a tough color like black or iroiro pink
I love Monday posts because I’m off and available to watch ❤ love you hope you’re having a great HALLOWEEN !!
Thank you for explaining the purpose of the clear permanent color. For the life of me, I could not figure it out 😆
I love you hair videos is beautiful happy halloween 😈💀👻♥
I definitely gotta try it. Thank you!
I have the permanent one, was hoping it would take out the pale yellow in my natural white hair, I've tried t18 but it turns my hair a dingy grey and I hate it.
She's a living kaleidoscope 💚🍄🏵️🐞
I have noticed if I did a gloss after toning it removed some of the toner some times not all the time since then I just use acidic toner like redkin or matrix acidic i also use the alkaline in real porous hair the acidic seal the color and alkaline kind leaves the cuticle open enough to not accept all the pigment.
I hope you leave the green/purple for a little longer... it is the prettiest colour you have ever had!! Your eyes just POP!!!!
LOVE the makeup
try blonde box dye !!!
Please answer me if you know
How to cover white hair properly
What kind of dye works best
What kind of diluent should i use
Thanks
🤔 I already knew the clear would fade the color. We call it 000 and I've seen it done before here in Mexico. Wich is odd ..... What I really wanna know is if it damages the already processed hair, because I have a patch where's about to break if I put anything damaging on top. So I worry..
Are you dressing up for Halloween this year? I loved, loved your look last 🎃 Halloween... Your so beautiful and just love you all the way around girly...keep doing you!!! 💕
i never thought about useing a clear permanent dye to remove color this is really cool ✨🤍🌈✨
You mentioned that the dye is sometimes used to break the base of hair, so I am assuming if you have natural roots, and colored ends it wouldn't be ideal to use this method? Im not looking to change my roots at all, and I've had bad experiences even with toner.
I have a question can you use clear to lift bleached hair a couple levels if it's still a little dark yellow I already bleached my hair and I don't want to bleach it again cuz I'm trying to preserve the health
Hmmm I might try that on my hair cuz mine is pretty faded & don’t want to bleach it 😁 Happy Halloween!! ☠️👻🎃
I use Ion toner & 20v to remove color all the time 🥺👉👈 but people on tiktok get mad at me.
So if I had bright red hair and it’s super faded will this technique work perfectly?
I've never heard of clear permanent dye! After reading the comments I feel like I've been living under a rock 🤣
Where did you get those butterfly clips in your hair?! I love them!
I think Amazon
HAPPY HALLOWEEN BISH!!!
If I would have known about this trick a few days ago,it would have made it so much easier to remove my yellow lol I'll know better for next time :)
Is it just the peroxide that is lifting the colour?
I'll let you know how it goes
Can you review colorfix semipermanent color remover?
is the damage just like toning your hair?
Ugh, YES!
i wonder how it works on a scalp that is actually producing heat
Try it on iroiro pink 🤣
Can someone tell me how to remove Demi permanent ion blue black? 😭
Can't wait until you fix whatever is up with the echo in the audio so I can watch your amazing videos again
What echo?
I didn't hear any echo.
May be your device, I don't hear any echo. Unless she fixed it before I saw it, which is possible.
Wow that worked great. I might do this when I’m ready to get rid of my blue hair
does anyone know if the permanent one would work to remove demi permanent haircolor?
It does not work. “Color does not lift color” when it comes to Demi and permanent colors
Chi Has a clear also
are you telling me permanent hair color removes semi color…
This is soo cute tho
What if you just used the developer? Would it lift then?
I don’t think so, but you could always try it 🖤
@@AkaAislinn thank you! 💚
Semi or Demi permanent?
Semi!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN everybody! 🎃 👻 👽 🧙♀️
🌈🖤🌈🖤
Why didn't you use the 20 volume for the demi-permanent too? I'm lost on why you chose the two different volumes.
So…. Color does lift color? Lol Everything in beauty school was a lie
You also have to remember that the mannequin doesn't have a hot head!
Love this channel, but honestly this is borderline reckless advice. 00 is not only inefficient at removing color, it also is incredibly damaging.
I have a feeling AKA Aislinn was trying to hype herself up to try this on her own hair… and I hope she rethinks the strategy.
Believe me, one round of bleach will get you further and with less damage than 3 rounds of 00
I think we all know there are less damaging ways to remove color than using this or bleach, but every hair situation is different and thus requires a specific solution. She's experimenting on a wig so people watching this don't have to experiment on themselves. And no one is reckless enough to do this 3 times in a row, but I honestly don't know where you got that number from. No one said anything about doing 3 rounds of permanent dye.
:)
