Hi It is usually uncountable. Example: If there is a big bowl of salad on the table, you would say: "Would you like some salad?" (singular and uncountable). It is similar to pasta, rice etc. I hope that helps. :) Andrew.

With most phrasal verbs u can use Phrasal verbs+ particle OR verb +object+particle
