Nurse just needs to concentrate on his own responsibilities not other players. Let goalie make the saves rather than blocking his vision

Nurse just sucks, they need to try and get rid of him. If the Oilers don't pick up defence and another decent goalie their going to be in the same position as any other year. This year was great.
Short of hiring aliens to abduct him, there is no realistic way to get rid of Nurse. Maybe they could improve his performance by pairing him with a right-shot version of Ekholm, but you have to find one at an affordable price.
Jack Campbell and Darnell Nurse both have one thing in common. Big contracts and both didn't do anything after getting it. I don't care what kind of friend he is off ice, he stopped playing after his contract. Where is the Nurse ,the great player that he was before his contract. This team needs to slow down in awarding HUGE contracts. Conner and Leon have earned their contracts and continue to play hard because I believe it's in their DNA to win the honor of holding the Stanley Cup.
Skinner is an asset! also Arvidsson, if he stays healthy..
You just realistically trade Nurse. Between the contract and his being good friends with McDavid it's just not a winning scenario. I hope the defense can play at the level the Devil's defense played in the mid to late 90s, clear the puck quickly and give Skinner the best chance to steal a game when needed. I feel there is another trade coming but I think it might wait til after the season starts to see if it's a knee jerk trade or a free cap space to sign Leon.
If you can trade PLD, and Karlsson. Then you can trade Nurse.
