- This instructional video explains step by step how to setup your Avid CNC machine Mach 4 software to the XBOX 360 wireless controller. Joey with Steel Blade Woodworks also explains step by step how to sync your XBOX 360 wireless gaming controller to your PC in windows 10. Instructions of step by step how to program the hot keys on the XBOX 360 gaming controller to PC keyboard keys so that it will function with Avid CNC Mach 4. This enables the CNC router to be used on a wireless gaming controller to help maneuver X,Y & Z axis during setup.

one thing though do you know how to reopen the file and adjust it? I cant reopen it even if i remove and re add it
When I downloaded the file a shortcut was placed on my desktop which allows me to enter into the program a do adjustments.

@@CustomCraftedDesigns Maybe take a look at your firewall security. Hope this helps.
I found the software in the Microsoft store and re downloaded it there and it plays better with windows 11 to update here in case someone else has the problem with the software that might help. I had to completely delete the file from everywhere first. Working great now following your directions

@@SteelBladeWoodworks it was such a good video, I literally just finished building my 5’x10’ pro avid machine but I just used the controller and now my key pad on my lap top isn’t working or the controller it’s saying a tripped a sensor. Is there a place I can message you. I’m dying to get the machine moving abd trimmed so I can flatten some slabs!!!!
@@driftwoodworks-artistdanie8037 you can message me on Instagram @joey.steelblade sorry for the slow response. Also you may try disabling your soft limits in Mach 4 so you at least get the CNC backed off the sensors. Then HOME the CNC. Make to turn the soft limits back on. Hope this helps.
