My two cents and a disclaimer: I've been a part of the sound design team, so my opinion might be biased on this one. The demo showcases only the samples and patterns (except for the last sequence in the video) that I've contributed to the pool-of course, there is much more to explore.
The Lofi-12 XT is a sampling-groove box with eight individual tracks, sample locks, a 128-step sequencer with individual track lengths, and a song mode. I've really enjoyed working with the Lofi-12 XT, and for me, the overall ratio of features versus intuitive workflow was just right.
It offers a well-thought-out user interface when it comes to beat making and sound design; only the sample organization might be a bit confusing at the beginning. Solid build quality, a nice handheld format, and pads with velocity and aftertouch that actually react quite well.
What really stood out for me, though, was the well-rounded sound. Of course, it's a bit lo-fi (well, that's the concept, so nothing to complain about), but the sample rate reduction in combination with the master compressor (including Sidechain) creates a nice gluing effect on the sum.
If I could make a wish, I'd like to see individual outs or at least EQs on the single tracks for mixing. As a workaround, you could use the filter or effect slot per track, but it remains a compromise.
TLDR: There are already some samplers on the market, and even in that price range, competition is strong. But if you're searching for a sampler with character that also offers a great feature set, you should definitely check out the Lofi-12 XT.
Man. The more i hear of this little box, the more i like it.
Didn’t realise they’re velocity pads, that’s something I miss on many of its competitors. Sounds, as you say, very characterful too. Thanks for the demo

Babe wake up, Limbic Bits posted
😂
whats the difference between this and the lofi 12? just the sequencer?
Please check: sonicware.jp/pages/lofi12xt
At the bottom of the page you'll find an in-depth overview of the differences
Is it battery-operated (as an option)?
yes!
@@limbicbits Awesome. Thanks.
Is this 100% recorded from the XT? I'm curious if you editing anything in post?
I did some minimal EQing on the third track (lowered some upper mids) but other than that, it's 100% XT
К сожалению, нет убедительности в звуке, как у akai s612
