They were indeed, Richard..it's a bit weird how they haven't been repeated by other people since, isn't it.? I guess that adds to their mystery..? Take care.. 😊🙏
I've googled them & it's very strange how it wasn't documented, also how they are all facing the same way, but as you say all adds to their mysticism 🙏
Hiya guys. Finally got around to watching this one (skiving at work lol). The woods were fantastic and I sat pondering how they must have got them to grow crooked (bit like Bonsai tree shopping I guess). Look out for giant puff balls (not sure if they are a UK variety of edible fungi only). I noticed pipework running along the edge of the roads when you left the Crooked Woods. Gas lines? Really odd. Great upload guys. Made me chuckle too. Hugs xx❤
Hiya hon..skiving at work, eh?? Haha!! At least you were doing something worthwhile with your time tho..lolol 😉 No one really seems to know how they shaped the trees..I'm guessing that the people concerned either didn't survive the war, or just didn't return. Some folk think it was a snow storm, but then why aren't more trees shaped the same? 🤷♂️ Haven't seen any giant puffballs on our travels, but I'd know them if I saw them. Those pipes were fascinating. I'm not sure what they carried, but they simply rose over entrances tp places and carried on their way..lolol 😂 Glad you enjoyed watching me drag the hippy away from the trees.. 😂🤣😂 Massive hugs to you guys ❤️ xxx
Wonderful video Both. Those woods are awesome. After you dragged Karen away I was waiting for her to sneak back past lol. That 2nd parkup by the lake looked fantastic. Making feel hungry again seeing you eat them mushrooms 😋 Love and Big Hugs Both 💙 😻 💜
Thank you Asa mate 🙏😊 ah bugger...bloomin missed a trick there didn't we? That would have been funny AS.!! 😂🤣😂 I can hardly believe I've walked past Shaggy Inkcaps loads and now I know how tasty they are, I'll be foraging them again for definite 😉 😁👍 Safe travels n massive hugs 🙏💜😻💙
Shaggy Inks are yummy :) Did you see my Eerie find the other day ;) Love the crooked woods, they look like Dinosaur feet lol Nowt wrong with us tree hugging hippies ;) xx
🤔 Do you mean the Jelly Ears hon? How did they taste? The Shaggy Inkcaps are gorgeous..will be having those again for defo 😁 The Crooked Wood was brilliant to visit. Seen pics of it before so it was good to see in person 😊👍 xx
@@LillaHusVanlife Yea the jelly eats, they don't really have a taste and the consistency is a bit chewy. I pan fried them on butter n parsley till crispy tho n they were OK. Have you thought about harness training Oliver for when your put n about where dogs/cats may be? Xx
@@FreeBirdUKVanLife ah righty.. 🤔would you eat them again tho? 🤷♂️ lol Oliver is good on a harness, although we only use it when we're in built up areas. He's worn it on one or two vids but not many as he's great walking without..👍 He might have got on with those cats, but maybe not..he just prefers not to be social sometimes. He'd have his own little van if only he could open food pouches 🤔 😹😹😹 xx
@@LillaHusVanlife if I was in survival mode I'd eat them again lol...cats don't tend to get on easily, turf wars n all that...bless him, I'm sure he would figure it out 🤣 xx
Those trees are amazing, very unique, would be interesting to see how they 'shaped' them...great find 👍
