Los amo, I can't believe how much time has passed, I used to listen to this band when I was like 12, I'm 24 now, still rocking tho 💕
Right! I was 18. 29 now! Feels weird growing up in this technological age.
I remember getting the PS2 and the only game I had was ATV offroad fury 2, and my absolute favorite song in the game was nature of the experiment. Now I'm 25, seen these guys near 10 times, and still feel full nostalgia when I hear their stuff.
They really should be bigger. But people like horrible music
Coming back in 2023. This is still the most “hype” song ever written. Along with “If It Works”
Absolutely. Eternally hip
I saw them last night. It was amazing. I always feel so sad after concerts tho. Idk why, but maybe I'm just bummed cause its over.
this song still sounds rockin as of 2024 this could be a classic i think
Holy crap im 35 now. This will forever be amazing
I’m 33 and yes 😂
those bros look cold but at least they're bros
It's the fact that they're bros that keeps them that much warmer
Will Ingram yeah bro
When the bass comes in the song really comes together. Love it :)
love this band i play their songs on loop during school
"Cheer It On"
Operator, get me the president of the world
This is an emergency
Do your neighbor a favor
Collect their morning paper
And clip out all the sad bits, no one wants to read that
Let them take their kids to school and the zoo in peace
When you're standing near
Tokyo Police Club
When you're standing next to me
Tokyo Police Club
When you take the tunnel
Arresting you for being in love
Caught the fever that's spreading
Do you have a warm bed, we could stay the night in?
It's all sick boys in this house, no one wants to feed us
Dumb kid, you should have hid, you'd stand a better chance there
When you're standing near
Tokyo Police Club
When you're standing next to me
Tokyo Police Club
Lost in the Pacific
Arresting you for being in love
i can't believe i have never heard of them before. simply sweet.
14 years
NHL 2k8! Ottowa Senators!!
TOKYOOO POLICCEEEE CLUBBBBB (you all like that part the most too)
i heart tokyo police club

Came here to comment the same haha
anyone just watch nick swardson pretend time it had all tokyo police club on. now i have tokyo police club stuck in my head so had to listen to it
man, I remember how "a lesson in crime" was so perfect. nice to visit again
Can everyone please stop talking about what should and shouldn't be mainstream?
Yes, I don't want TPC to be tainted by the greedy hands of major record labels just as much as the next hipster... But this kind of band deserves recognition for the happiness they create from their music.
TOKYO police club! awesome
These guys are so great live
Still got my tshirt from Williamsburg Music Hall like 10 years ago. Love this band
i have a aunt whos boy friend grew up with these guys he got me a napkin signed by the drummer they went to a restaurant all there was to sign
love the keyboard scarf
I found these guys through a looooooong UA-cam journey back in 2008. Theyve stood the test of time better than anyone else
Such great music. :)
I LOVE creative bands like this and Vampire Weekend!
Operator, get me the President of the world. This is an emergency!
i love Canada i love our music, people, cultures, music, programs, everything! I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
I listen to this ten years ago in middle school. Boy time flies...
ten years ago music was around this type of style..
it's so easy to romanticize the past
Congratualations guys where the only ones with good taste in music!! love them
i've been trying to find this song for forever!!!!
Mississauga TPC fans, REPRESENT! Even though they probably won't see this, awesome concert guys.
Can't wait to see these dudes next week at the Kool Haus, going to be such an epic show.
wish it was longer!
EPIC!
9 fucken years ago :D still listening to it
Geez, where has the time gone. Totally forgot about this band... so awesome!
It was the encore in Denver. Everyone shouted along. Awesome!!! Take over the world, baby!!!!
They remind me of Violent Femmes. Younger, more up to date but equally vibrant and messy. Love it!
can't get enough of this song
been playing this song the whole day
tooooo goood
Xd
Yes this song in NHL and also it brings memories
the pianist gives the drummer a blanket, how canadian :)
This is probably my favourite song at the moment
woww exact same here!
Going go to see these guys and TDCC tonight... well in about half an hour.
Love them so much!!
these guys played a free show at my citys town hall feild, it was really cool they were good
They live near Toronto! hurray!
This needs to be longer!
i love the keyboard on this.
@Nilo7980 the guitars sound like we are scientists and the voice sounds like the strokes.
Yeaah!! Great song! lml
Love this song!
ye for sure. And by cold it probably like -5 ish by the looks of it. Newmarket in winter is lol.
the only song i hear when i play nhl 2k8 :D
All I listened to last year was Tokyo Police Club and Sum 41, . . .and yes, I am Canadian.
my favorite band ever
word up to mississauga TPC fans! MDV in the house:)
@SebastianCova, less than 3 is the same as less than or equal to 2,(9). if we just take into account natural numbers (1, 2, 3, 4...), then
sounding like the strokes, acting like mando diao, just love it
We're trying to play in the middle of a frozen field...This is an EMERGENCY!!!
(LOVE lesson in crime!)
is it just me, or does anyone else agree their similar to the strokes! or remind you of them. love them both, holyyyy. this band is very underrated, you guys are dope!
Destiny Danielle if Julian Casablanca was sober then yeah they’d sound similar
Well these guys are definitely inspired by strokes, at least the rhythm part
wow. I 1st listened to them bcuz of the name
@Nilo7980 that's why I instantly fell in love with this band =)
By far my all time favorite band! Not my # 1 favorite song but deffinately top 10! I wish champ was as good as this album but it is still amazing, just doesnt compare to a lesson in crime!
@elgrosbig I KNOOW, easily the best concert ive been to! ! !
TOKYO POLICE CLUB!!!!!!!
i love his blue eyes!!
WELL INTO THE MILLIONS!!!
Love that leafs hat
Im so happy its not cold outside anymore :)
yeeeeeeeee! i got the drum stick he tossed into the crowd like legit it was fucking SICK.
@bencrowder72 it was the encore over at the glass house in Pomana also! ahh it was so sick i was hoping they would play it :] one of the best shows i have seen hands down next to Bloc Party.
@Hipsterdom This is the music that should be mainstream. everyone needs to hear this
@matt90boy Ahaha... TDCC is Two Door Cinema Club. They're from Ireland and equally as amazing.
sweet band! his voice is heavenly :o
Saints Row
David Fambro saint's row 2, right??
the.lonely.and.strong 1529 yup
Underrated band and song
Tokyo Police Club is the best band in the world
i love his eyes=D
they are really good live
great song!!!!!!
you have a colombian fan!!!
: ) see you someday!
I promess ...
@Daarko15 IT was an epic show!
he's gorgeous
soo goood!!
how do they only have like 100,000 fans? they played a show with the Neon Trees when they were in my town, idk if the went on tour together, but they should be huge! they got the potential. they're the only good band out of Canada and they don't have uber high pitched voices (ie. Justin Bieber, Rush, Gwen Stefani)
i love the bass mixed in this song
@mrmathers93 I think it was in the intro to Nick Swardsons Pretend Time.
@sharpestdart Bambi was featured in Season 3.
yeeeeeeeeeeee
@SebastianCova, I know, that's why I used "
i want that piano keys scarf!
Only reason i looked up song
Real music :)
They make me proud to be Canadian!. . . .so do many other things, scratch that, CANADA IS AWESOME!!! So is TPC!
@taoinmusic that's not a fender. Fender have very closely shaped headstocks to that but it doesn't say fender and no truss rod covers as seen in 1:34 but it has only 2 pickups, a 3 way toggle switch near the neck on the lower horn, and a strange tremolo bar. If you really wanted to find out, it could be a Framus from the 60s or even a Yamaha guitar from the 60s. Most likely it's a framus. But I could not find the exact model.
@saboomify, he didn't put any comma, you're right. it should be less than or equal to 3333332,(9) with a number of 3's equal to the one he used :)
Great job at Edge Fest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DFA 1979 ish keyboard scarf another great canada band
OMG I CANT WAIT TO MEET THEM
