How one of these companies needed to make a combined uvb / led unit. & then BAM 💥 I see this video ! I’m like No F’N Way ! 🤯lol
I've seen so many flighty baby rhino iguanas - I bet your breeder is stellar! Prehandling the babies out of the eggs makes all the difference by the breeders. ❤ Love your new baby!!!
very pleasant to see that i already had one of those uvb bars for my beardie! came here thinking id find a better kind or something new to the market but it turns out i was one step ahead lol! im definitely following now!
Definitely excited to see how the day geckos react to them. So far nothing but good things in the past weeks I've been using them for Boris and the bearded dragon.

I like seeing the new tech coming out. The Reptile Lighting comm on FB had reported that the uvb tech isnt quite there yet, as the wavelengths do allow the reptiles to synthesize Vit D but not turn off making Vit D...aka causing TOO much Vit D synthesis, thus making it unsafe? Theres a great report on it in the group
I'm familiar with that group and study. Personally I feel that specific group is pretty biased towards Arcadia products. I've read both exo terras study & theirs. From my understanding there is one part that can't be readily made that is the issue, but not to the level that some are making it out to be. While it is something to keep in mind, for them to say the tech isn't there yet is something I disagree with.
Also to note before people come to me that I'm biased. I did not get paid by exo terra for this video, they were kind enough to send me some of their products to review.
@@Dakotahblueexotics I haven't noticed that personally, the new arcadia golden sun were not well received from thomas' reports. Im using terrasky for 1.reptile and reptisun/Arcadia for others. I wish there were easier ways to tell health short term since reptiles can go so long without looking sick.
Hi i am from the UK, , I am getting a bearded dragon after Christmas, I just wondering is the new exo terra is suitable for the bearded dragon as i got the acardia all in one uva/uvb bulb and also with the new exo terra uvb do i need to get uva heat bulb separat ,so sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, just want to get everything ready and sorted after Christmas

Iv been using these led uvb lights for a few months now . Iv used my solar meter and all seem to be up to par

Ok but wait… do you have to replace the entire fixture when the UVB burns out? Because it has to be replaced periodically 🤔 I’m gonna look into this
The led uvb bar needs to be replaced every 4 years or 20,000 hours. Not periodically like the t5 ho bulb. One of the reasons I like it!
