I don't understand how this is not the most played Christmas song. With the staggering nostalgia of the lyrics, the beautiful melody and the mesmerizing passion of Chris Martin's voice, this song is not only my fav Christmas songs, but is one of my all-time favorites, bar none.
As a person from the future specifically 2024, it is criminally underrated but doesn't get much spotlight. It's not a classic yet though i hope so in about 5 years or so.

Má tam přesně ten feeling, který by měl být a je to fakt silné. Videoklip na jedničku a zkrátka dokonalá práce, tady není co řešit.. A tak tedy poctivě čekám, než si ji budu moct vychutnat plnými doušky přesně a poctivě v tom prosinci, nebo maximálně měsíc před Vánoci..❤️⚡🎄🎄

This was playing 5 years ago after my aunt's funeral, she passed away 2 days before Christmas, she was 39, and was the sweetest most hardworking single mom on this earth. She was on the hospital for a month before her death. This songs brings bittersweet memories to me, it reminds me of her, of that awful Christmas, of the exact moment we knew she was gone... I miss you so much auntie. I love you.

Fun fact: Christmas is actually a pagan tradition with pagan roots. It has nothing to do with Christianity whatsoever. Basically some dude on church a long time ago decided to make it about Jesus for no absolute reason. People basically just said "whatever" and continued to celebrate it on the same Pagan tradition. It eventually developed to this Christmas culture we know and love/hate today.

This song starts with the first few notes of their biggest hit, Welcome to the Black Parade, but the G note alone should do the trick;) I'm not emo, but I do love two of MCR's albums. Their fan base tends to be kinda...dramatic (that we have in common. Not sure if I count as a Killjoy, tho - I definitely prefer Coldplay!)

I will be shamefully honest, I have never heard this song before..I don't listen to Christmas music often..give it to Coldplay though to get into your inner feels..The moment I played this song the other day, I puddled. The past week, I dealt with the most difficult and heart breaking break-up. The first Christmas without him. As I'm sitting in my living room alone pondering on doing, well..anything. I decided to play 'sweet' and soft Christmas music to get motivated to like it again, not classics though. I see this one and I'm thinking yeah! Love them! I still do, but oy vey... this hit hard. The past week, I dealt with the most difficult and heart breaking break-up. The first Christmas without him. As I'm sitting in my living room alone pondering on doing, well..anything. I decided to play 'sweet' and soft Christmas music to get motivated to like it again, not classics though. I see this one and I'm thinking yeah! Love them!
