I'm not a Hawks fan but why are they so harsh on them, calling it tanking?? It's not tanking.. They were prepared for a rebuild knowing they won't win many games.. This is ridiculous boys
@Jamie kelly it's just my opinion, that's all.. They knew that the rebuilding process would cause them to lose a lot of games and the club was prepared for it.. But why is it considered "tanking" only when Hawks do it?
Where was the tanking discussion when Damo’s Roos had an average losing margin of 40 points last year and begged for and got picks and extra list spots?
Cooper Stephens was a first round pick 🤷♂️ we traded up to get a second first rounder in the national draft!! In the last 2 drafts we have 5 picks in the top 30 Josh Ward Connor McDonald Sam Butler Cam McKenzie Josh Weddle
maybe i jumped the gun on daisy. actually said some very reasonable things to do with tigers decision to ban daisy and the stupid nathan broad 4 week slaughtering by the tribunal. and he only got 4 bc he and the club conducted themselves with a heap of respect and remorse.
Already giving heat on coaches and assuming their jobs are in jeopardy in Round 2, is simply ridiculous.. Then they wonder why coaches hate speaking to them LoL Just take it easy guys.. I get you have to talk about something and make a headline but this is just shocking
It’s not a form of tanking, it’s regenerating your list with young players, and you cop your licks, but the end result should be worth the pain, if they get their picks right. It’s not the only way to rebuild but with the state of their squad, it needed to be done this way. And no, I’m not a hawks fan at all.
The AFL needs to start holding ppl like Barrett accountable for making such ridiculous claims about tanking after 1 round. He's basically bringing the game into disrepute and hounding AFL employees. Take away his credentials, the guy is slime.
He is a slime.. It's ridiculous.. They're not tanking.. They're rebuilding, knowing full well it will be hard and they won't win many games.. Tanking it is simply horrible reporting
