The best part of Sekiro unlike other souls game with the parry function is that you feel so much more powerful. You literally stand your ground even with the final boss of the game. And the fact that you have to keep applying pressure to break posture makes you feel like your always stronger in a fight. The feeling you get when you see the enemy getting overwhelmed is unlike any other game.
I don't really "see" it, I mean I can react to it if I'm paying enough attention, but mostly whenever he does this sweep, I hit him directly (he doesn't block) so I hear the different sound first. Bot mostly just dodge forwards whenever he does something that isn't an attack after he deflects you

Man how do you see his attack where he jumps back with a big spear sweep (in 2nd phase)? It always catches me off guard
