What happened with the Truck hopefully it's going to someone who's going to restore it. That Truck looks really good seeing it on video hopefully it gets restored. Hate to see theses old Truck's going to the scrap metal when there still fixable...

I'd love to have that old kenworth k 100 aerodyne,with a double eagle sleeper on the back,that'd what it is,I got pictures of them from the 80s,,she would be sharp if the right person gets ahold of her.

So George Jones would drive his own semi truck and he will drive his tour bus as well that's the reason why they're sleeper was so big because he would stay in it
Any news if he plans to put it back on the road its a pretty truck just needs a few bucks to make it road legal again mainly tires and probally a well needed PM
@@bigred1247 thanks for the info. On a Stapleton42 video recently shot at Petty enterprises the Petty's have saved 1 of the 2 Dodge cabovers they got from Chrysler corp, the truck was shown on the video in back of Petty's shop.
My friend built 85 same cab but 120 bunk king bed. Cummins done by Pittsburg I think 2 fuel pumps said 400 pounds fuel psi. Adjusted in the cab and said the timing to . 5x4 on 1 shifter and claimed 1250 to the ground. 104 and more gears to go . Said man in minissota has it white and maroon 7 inch pipes i could have had it but stupid didn't

Great use of boom and under lift combo to hook unit. Many tow operators don't use both ?

Why would you need the boom after you have it up on the under reach ?
The perks of an integrated set up is you can just lift it and set it right where you need it. Of course once hooked we disconnect the boom.
Would be very cool if the Cabover KW Aerodyne used by Richard Petty's race team in the early 1980's surfaced again.
