It was sad for 2019 Messi. He actually carried the Barca team by HIMSELF for the first time. All the way to the UCL Semifinals. But he still lost at Anfield.

I know some people realise how messi is great footballer. But I’ve watched the video couple of times. In some situations he outsmart himself. And the determination he showed in 2009 by far this is the best Messi you can see. Not just the numbers of goals or assists. It’s the hunger for playing football. Wow just WoW
2010 Messi was definitely when he started to really take off I believe. It’s when his skills started to fully develop. And 2012 is probably the most deadly year for him with his 91 goals

This brings back so many memories. It seems like only yesterday that we saw the El Clasico where Barcelona absolutely humiliated Real Madrid 6-2 at the Bernabeu. I was in class 9 and just 15 years old. Messi himself was so young at just 21. It was a magnificent season for us culminating with the 2-0 win against Ronaldo's Manchester United. Since them Messi has achieved so many things. The World Cup victory in 2022 was the ultimate reward for all us Messi/Barcelona fans who have been supporting him for almost two decades. Thanks for the video as it brought back many wonderful memories.

What? 2010-11 he was at his peak dribbling wise but 2011-12 he was at his peak stat wise and 2015 he was at his peak passing wise.
Terra messorem - How was he the GOAT in 09? He scored 38 goals compared to 2012 with 73, he assisted 17 times in 09 compared to 29 in 2012, his dribbling in 09 was only starting to hit peak which it did in 2011. Messi in 2012 was statistically and overall the greatest footballer ever. 09 he was great too but nowhere near his peak.

@Terra messorem you clearly don't know futbol messi is at his peak Now. He doesn't need to run like wild and take unnecessary shots. He plays smarter now making key passes, dribbles or accelerates when needed and shoots when he knows he has a target. He thinks more now as he has transcended into the xavi role of playmaking
The current Messi is better goalscorer, but too lazy. Did you watch him in the 2018 WC? His dribble isn't that good anymore and I think he was at his peak in 2009.
