Cute! And love the perspective lesson! I really enjoy how you take stamp sets and add your flair of drawing, coloring, etc, to make a card, journal page, etc. even more unique to you. Seeing you do this provides SO much inspiration for what we can do with our talents and creativity. It shows so much about how we can use these items as tools and that we don't need to get every stamp, die, etc. to make something nice, special, and unique. Thank you, Sandy! : D
When I saw the card a couple of days ago, I thought it was adorable. But getting the art lesson on vanishing point was awesome! I'll be showing this to my 11 year old!
Thanks for the tutorial. The perspective technique was great. Love the overall look of the card, It looks to be a lot of fun to make, it sure was fun to watch.
This card is AMAZING Sandy! I had no idea about vanishing points, so my next quest is educating myself on this subject.....so cool! Thanks so much for sharing!
THIS.... YOU... I... Gah!! You are amazing!! This whole video has been so incredibly educational and fun. I kept thinking, "Why haven't I ever seen something like this before? Why haven't I THOUGHT of anything like this before? This woman is amazing!!"
I remember doing vanishing points in art class at high school but i never fully got the hang of it But you made it look so easy i am tempted to give it another go.
Excellent video! I've always wanted to know how to do this. I find it so strange that I have learned more watching UA-cam card tutorials than I learned in college art class.
Hi Sandy, LOVE your cards. You are amazing! I was in a slump and looking for more inspiration and came across your site and laundromat sample. You jump started my creative juices. Your washer action card is so unique. I have some wobbles so i'm going to try this but first i need to get this stamp set. This set could also be used as a shaker card. Thank you! :)
Sandy, this is the best lesson! The vanishing point issue with some stamps has not been something that has really crossed my mind. Now, I'm thinking of so many more possibilities for some images. Thank you! - Mind blown! Oh, and I have a college freshman who's birthday is in April. ;)
Oh, man, how do you vision your designs lol? I WISH I could even come up with something as cool as this!!!! Thank you for the architectural aspect -- love love LOVE!
I ran out today, and bought this set, and dies after you said, you wished you had them...hahaha I think this is a wonderful video...and it took a LOAD of my mind, now that I have them...haha Now, did you do this on an A2 size card base??? I would love to know the measurements Sandy...
How did you know to make the floor marks every 1/2 inch, as opposed to, let's say, every one inch? I don't understand how you selected the 1/2 inch as the correct dimension, as part of the vanishing point .....? Thanks for your help!
