  • Today we are shopping in BGC Philippines! Last March, we spent a few days in Manila where we stayed at One Uptown Residences. One Uptown was conveniently attached to the Uptown Mall and during our visit, we were highly recommended to check out the brand new Mitsukoshi Mall, Manila's first-ever Japanese Mall. We stayed at One Uptown Residence & visited uptown mall in late 2019. Watching your video, I’m like, we missed a lot at the mall. 😅 Hope to go back one day! Thanks for sharing, brought back so much memories of the Philippines 🇵🇭😃

Thanks for sharing! I loved seeing both malls and getting your insight on the places to go. It would be great if you could include examples of pricing for food, clothes, hotel rooms and other items. I know BGC is an expensive area compared to other parts of the Philippines but am wondering how it compares to upscale places in Asia, Europe or America.

Thank you so much! We didn't get to do much clothes shopping and I stayed at my mom's condo for this very quick trip. Food is definitely inexpensive and there's lots of options, there's food courts in both malls our meal was Php 500 for both of us which is about $10 USD. I would say the pricing in bars in the area are definitely higher than most of Manila because you're paying for location but most places will have a great ambience and are open late!

Im confused, you have american accent so I thought you were from the US and then you speak tagalog and you dont have any accent. Are you born and raised here or US?
